Coverage may change from time to time based on updates from China Telecom Corporation. Customers’ access to this service will vary based on the model of their device and local regulations governing satellite network use.

1. After the expiry of the contract, the customer will be charged at the prevailing monthly fee of the service if the customer continues to use the service.
2. “Satellite number” refers to the traditional satellite phone numbers (e.g. Iridium, Thuraya, etc.)

  • This service is only available for selected SmarTone customers with designated mobile monthly service plan subscription.
  • This service is only applicable to compatible mobile phones or devices with satellite communication capabilities, intended for use in Hong Kong and within the service coverage area. For more details, please contact the respective mobile device manufacturers and app developers.
  • Customers must prefix the number with +852 when calling any Hong Kong numbers, including emergency numbers.
