I am the primary cardholder of “5G” / “SuperCare Family Plan”, can I earn The Point bonus points with my friends and family?
Yes, simply bind your (primary SIM) SmarTone member and The Point accounts, your family/ friends can then earn The Point bonus points by subscribing, upgrading, or renewing designated service plans at SmarTone. Points earned will be saved in your The Point account.
I am the secondary cardholder of “5G” / “SuperCare Family Plan”, can I earn The Point bonus points?
Once your family/friend (primary cardholder) registers as The Point member and binds their SmarTone member and The Point accounts, you will also earn bonus points by subscribing, upgrading, or renewing designated service plans at SmarTone. Bonus points earned will be saved in his/her The Point account.
I have several mobile numbers or other service plans (e.g. Home 5G Broadband, HomePhone+ or Fibre Broadband), can I earn The Point bonus points on them?
Yes. Please select one of the service plans and bind it to your The Point account using its registered or contact number. Upon successful binding, you can earn bonus points by subscribing, upgrading, or renewing designated service plans at SmarTone.
If I am a The Point Gold member, will I automatically become a SmarTone PRIORITY customer?
The Point Gold member must be a SmarTone mobile service plan customer and have bound SmarTone member and The Point account. SmarTone PRIORITY will take effect within one week from the start date of your The Point Gold membership.
Yes, The Point bonus points have 2 expiry dates each year: 31 March and 30 September.
Points earned from 1 October of previous year to 31 March of current year will expire on 31 March of the following year;
Points earned from 1 April to 30 September of current year will expire on 30 September of the following year.

Are The Point bonus points transferrable?

Can I use a different mobile number to bind with my The Point account if I have more than one?
Yes, you can click on “The Point” on the homepage of SmarTone CARE App, click on The Point total points to get into point record, then click to change the primary cardholder mobile number that binds with The Point account. Please note, The Point bonus points earned on the original primary cardholder's mobile number will not be transferred to the new The Point account with the new primary cardholder's mobile number.
What rewards can I redeem with The Point bonus points?

How can I see how many The Point bonus points I've earned?
If you have bound The Point account, SmarTone CARE App will show your total The Point bonus points, and the record of bonus points earned at SmarTone under your name. To learn more about The Point bonus points earned via other merchants, please check The Point App.
If you are a secondary cardholder of “5G” / “SuperCare Family Plan”, the bonus points earned will be shown in SmarTone CARE App of your primary cardholder.
How to convert bonus points into Point Dollar?
Login to your account via The Point app, select “Point Dollar”, enter the exact amount to be converted and a QR code will be generated for checking out. Simply present the QR code to the shop staff to scan and complete the transaction. “Payment Success” will be shown with the transaction date and time upon successful transaction.
Is there any expiry date for the converted Point Dollar?
Yes. After converting bonus points into Point Dollar, a QR Code will be generated for checking out. It must be scanned successfully by the merchant within 120 seconds, otherwise the QR Code will be invalid, and Point Dollar will be automatically converted back into bonus points.
Can the converted Point Dollar be converted back into bonus points?
After converting bonus points into Point Dollar, a QR Code will be generated for checking out. It must be scanned successfully by the merchant within 120 seconds, otherwise the QR Code will be invalid, and Point Dollar will be automatically converted back into bonus points.
Can Point Dollar be refunded when I request sales refund?
No. Point Dollar used is not reversible nor refundable.
Is there any minimum spending of Point Dollar?
Yes. There is a minimum spending of $10 Point Dollar per transaction.
Can the spending paid with Point Dollar be used to earn bonus points?
No. Point Dollar is a reward converted from bonus points. Thus, it cannot be used to earn bonus points.
Can Point Dollar be exchanged for cash?
No. Point Dollar cannot be exchanged for cash and no change will be provided.
