  • The trade-in price will be adjusted based on the extent of damage of the Trade-In Device.
  • The trade-in of the designated device (“Trade-In Device”) must satisfy the Company’s trade-in policy (e.g. designated brands and models). The device should include a battery and must work properly. The Company reserves the right to make the final decision.
  • The company will not accept any device that is not purchased from authorised dealer or has been modified/altered in any way.
  • The trade-in of the old device can only be used to offset the purchase price of a new device and cannot be exchanged for other goods or cash.
  • After the trade-in is completed, the Trade-In Device cannot be reclaimed under any circumstance.
  • Trade-in prices are determined by our company and are subject to change without prior notice.

& Phone Content Transfer for free

  • The Customer is responsible to ensure all the data in the Trade-in Device is backed up prior to trade-in. The Company will not be responsible for any loss, retrieval, restoration or transfer of the data.
  • The Company reserves the right, and its discretion, not to proceed with phone content transfer service. In the event of dispute, The Company’s decision shall be final.
  • Phone content transfer service is available at the designated shops.

# Professional Data Deletion

  • The lead time of professional data deletion may vary between models and depends on amount of content.
  • The customer is responsible for backing up data and/ or content on the mobile device prior to professional data deletion service.
  • The Company expressly disclaims any liability for loss (including loss of data and content) or damage (including damage to mobile devices) suffered by the customer or any other persons arising, directly or indirectly, from professional data deletion service.
  • The Company reserves the right, and its discretion, not to proceed with professional data deletion service. In the event of dispute, The Company’s decision shall be final.
  • Professional data deletion service is available at the designated shops.

SmarTone Screen Replace™:

  • Upon accidental physical damage of the smartphone screen and/or its attached LCD panel, within 12 months of the effective date of Screen Replace, SmarTone will reimburse the cost of screen/LCD panel repair or replacement, once only within the first 12 months from the effective date of Screen Replace.
  • The reimbursement is subject to submission by the customer of the official invoice from the smartphone manufacturer or its authorised repair centres as stipulated by SmarTone.
  • The reimbursement is restricted to covering the repair or replacement cost of accidental physical damage of the handset screen and/or its attached LCD panel and excludes any other repair and refurbishment of any other component or the handset itself. For smartphone manufacturer or its authorised repair centre that offer a handset replacement as the only option for repair, SmarTone may at its discretion reimburse 60% on the cost of handset replacement. The reimbursement percentage can vary from time to time. SmarTone has the right to make the final decision in relation to the reimbursement.
