    Can I purchase "SmarTone Screen Replace™" or Upgraded Back-to-Front "SmarTone Screen Replace™" as a standalone service?

    No. SmarTone Screen Replace™ is only available as an add-on upon purchase of designated handsets through selected service plans.

    Can I upgrade my "SmarTone Screen Replace™" to a 24-mth service and / or top-up for additional repairs?

    No, "SmarTone Screen Replace™" cannot be upgraded, extended or topped up for additional repairs.

    If my phone repair is completed in authorised repair centre(s) located outside of Hong Kong, will I be reimbursed?

    No. The repair should be undertaken by the manufacturer(s) and / or its authorised repair centre(s) in Hong Kong. Repair by authorised repair centre(s) anywhere outside of Hong Kong will not be reimbursed.

    My repair receipt shows that there is more than one item repaired, will I be reimbursed for all repairs?

    We will reimburse the cost of the designated smartphone screen + and/or its back cover, and wearable device front screen repair or replacement only. Please note that only accidental physical damage will be reimbursed. We will only reimburse once for every receipt within the service period of "SmarTone Screen Replace™" and Upgraded Back-to-Front "SmarTone Screen Replace™". The number of times for reimbursement is dependent on your service details. The maximum reimbursement amount for smartphones is HK$3,000 per claim. The maximum reimbursement amount for designated wearable devices is HK$1,500 per claim.

    What does "Back Cover" refer to in the Upgraded Back-to-Front "SmarTone Screen Replace™"?

    "Back Cover" refers to the back side of your device and there is no limitation on materials. You would be reimbursed within the contract period of Upgraded Back-to-Front "SmarTone Screen Replace™" for the repair or replacement incurred by accidental physical damage.

* "SmarTone Screen Replace™" is restricted to covering the repair or replacement cost of accidental physical damage to the front screen of the designated smartphones and wearable devices. Upgraded Back-to-Front "SmarTone Screen Replace™" is restricted to covering the repair or replacement cost of accidental physical damage to the front screen and / or the back cover of the designated smartphones. The maximum reimbursement amount for smartphones is HK$3,000 per claim. The maximum reimbursement amount for wearable devices is HK$1,500 per claim. 

+ Front screen includes its attached display panel.

Upgraded Back-to-Front "SmarTone Screen Replace™":
·SmarTone Screen Replace™ is provided by Avo Insurance Company Limited and Sun Hung Kai Properties Insurance Limited (collectively “Avo”).
·Upon accidental physical damage of the designated handset screen and/or its back cover, and wearable device front screen, Avo will reimburse the cost of screen/ back cover repair or replacement, once only within the first 12 months from the effective date of Screen Replace. The reimbursement is subject to submission by the customer of the official invoice (must include the IMEI /Serial Number of the device) from the manufacturer or its authorised repair centres as stipulated by Avo. The maximum amount of the handset reimbursement is HK$3,000 per claim. The maximum amount of the wearable device reimbursement is HK$1,500 per claim.
·The reimbursement is restricted to covering the repair or replacement cost of accidental physical damage of the designated handset screen and/or its back cover, and wearable device front screen, and expressly excludes any other repair and refurbishment of any other component or the handset itself. If the manufacturer or its authorised repair centres, as stipulated by Avo, offer a replacement as the only option for repair, Avo may exercise discretion and will reimburse up to 60% on the cost of replacement, subject to the maximum limit per device. The reimbursement percentage can vary from time to time and Avo's decision on the validity for reimbursement is absolute and final.
