Satellite Voice & SMS

Tiantong-1 only covers designated destinations. Customers’ access to this service will vary based on the model of their device and local regulations governing satellite network use.

Whether customers can enjoy this service depends on two factors:
1) the model of their device and
2) the regulations governing satellite network use in their region. Currently, only Huawei Pura 70 Ultra supports Satellite Voice & SMS. If customers use Huawei Pura 70 Ultra in any of the covered areas outside of Mainland China, Hong Kong and Macau, they will not be able to connect to the satellite network and enjoy this service.

You will need a compatible mobile phone or device with satellite communication capabilities to use this service in designated destinations. For more details, please contact the respective mobile device manufacturers and app developers.

It typically takes around 30 seconds to connect to Tiantong-1, but this can vary depending on the satellite signal strength, your location and the weather.

To make a call, manually connect to the satellite network and dial [+] + [Country Code] + [Area Code] + [Phone Number]. For example, if you call Hong Kong numbers, you will need to dial [+852]

Your number with the prefix [+852] will be displayed on the receiver's phone.
