Q1: | Can I use my existing mobile or fixed-line number from another operator as an add-on number? |
A1: | Yes you can use existing mobile or fixed-line number from another operator as an add-on number. Please visit our stores to complete the registration. Prior to your visit: |
Q2: | What is the next step after registering the existing number or fixed-line number as an add-on number at your store? |
A2: | You will need to download and install Add-on Numbers app on your mobile. The number will be automatically displayed on the Add-on Numbers app once it is ported in successfully. |
Q3: | How many fixed-line number can I register as an add-on number? |
A3: | You can register up to 4 fixed-line numbers. |
Q1: | Since I started using Add-on Numbers, I noticed a call prefix (such as 1902 and 1903) in front of some of my contacts in the native phonebook, why is there a call prefix? | |
A1: | Whenever you add a new contact to Add-on Numbers’ phonebook, a copy of that contact will be automatically synchronised to your native phonebook with a call prefix (such as 1902 or 1903). This is designed to help you conveniently identify contacts from different add-on numbers. |

Q2: | How can I recognise which specific add-on number is the incoming call for? | |
A2: | Whenever a call comes in, within a few seconds the screen will show you the add-on number and label that the call is intended for so you can recognise it. |

Q3: | Can Add-on Numbers support call forwarding to another phone number? | |
A3: | No. Add-on Numbers does not support call forwarding to another phone number. |

Q4: | When I forward the main number to another phone number, will that affect my add-on numbers on that phone? | |
A4: | When call forwarding to another phone number is being activated for the main number, the mobile numbers under Add-on Numbers will also be forwarded to that number, while fixed-line numbers will not be affected. If you do not want to forward the add-on numbers, simply turn on “Send Directly to Voicemail” and incoming calls to your add-on numbers will be directed to their respective voicemails. |

Q5: | When I am using the fixed-line number under Add-on Numbers to make a call, will the fixed-line number’s caller identity be shown on the receiver’s handset? | |
A5: | Yes. Your fixed-line number will be shown as usual. |

Q6: | Can I hide the caller ID for calls made through Add-on Numbers? | |
A6: | Yes. Please select the respective add-on number in the app and tap “Settings” on the top right-hand side, then switch off “Show My Caller ID”. |

Q7: | If my phone has been turned off, what happens to the incoming calls of the mobile and fixed-line numbers under Add-on Numbers? | |
A7: | If your phone has been turned off, all incoming calls will be directed to the voicemail of that add-on number. |

Q8: | If there is no data connection, can I make a voice call using Add-on Numbers? | |
A8: | Yes. You can make a voice call via the mobile numbers under Add-on Numbers even if there is no data connection, while making calls via fixed-line numbers require data connection. |

Q9: | How can I delete an add-on number in the app? | |
A9: | Simply follow the below steps and you can delete the add-on number in the app: |

Please note that once an add-on number is deleted, all contacts for that add-on number will also be deleted automatically. Therefore, please back up any related information before deleting the number. |

Q10: | Can I use the add-on number (including the ported-in fixed line number) again after deleting it in the app? | |
A10: | No, you can’t. If you delete an add-on number in the app, the number can't be used anymore. |

Q11: | What should I do if I want to delete an add-on number but keep the contacts of that number? | |
A11: | If you want to keep the contacts of your add-on number that you intend to delete, please select the respective add-on number in the app and tap “Settings” on the top right-hand side, then tap “Remove Contacts from this Phonebook” and select the contacts you want to keep. While those contacts will be removed from the respective add-on number’s phonebook, they will be kept in the native phonebook. When you delete the add-on number afterwards, those contacts in your native phonebook will not be affected. |

Q12: | Can I continue to use Add-on Numbers if I terminate the mobile number for my main number? | |
A12: | Once you terminated the mobile service for your main number, you cannot continue to use the Add-on Numbers app. |

Q13: | If I delete an add-on number in the app, can I use it again in future? | |
A13: | No. All deleted add-on numbers cannot be restored. |

Q14: | Which smartphone platforms support Add-on Numbers? | |
A14: | This service can be used on smartphones running iOS 11.0 or above, and Android™ 5.0 or above. For Android™ smartphone which does not support Google Play services, the Value-Added Service will not be applicable on the smartphone. |

Q15: | Can I use Add-on Numbers to make emergency calls (for example 999, 112)? | |
A15: | No, Add-on Numbers cannot be used to make any emergency calls including 999 and 112. Please use your main number or another phone to make emergency calls. |

A1: | To add a contact from the native phonebook to your Add-on Numbers’ phonebook, please do the following: |

Q2: | When I change to a new phone, can I continue to use my current add-on numbers? | |
A2: | Yes, as long as the main number for the service has not changed, simply download Add-on Numbers app to your new phone, open the app and follow the instructions to complete the verification process with the same main number. Upon successful verification, Add-on Numbers in the app will be ready for you on your new smartphone.

Q3: | Can I send and receive SMS through the fixed-line numbers under Add-on Numbers? | |
A3: | Yes. Each fixed-line number under Add-on Numbers comes with its own SMS feature. |

Q4: | Will SMS/MMS of Add-on Numbers be affected if there is no data connection? | |
A4: | Yes, they will be affected. Data connection is required for SMS/MMS of Add-on Numbers. |

Q5: | How can I back up the SMS in Add-on Numbers? | |
A5: | To back up your SMS in Add-on Numbers, simply select the respective add-on number in the app and tap “Settings” on the top right-hand side, then tap “Back up SMS”. A back up copy of the SMS will be sent to your designated email. |

Q6: | Can I use add-on numbers to register for WhatsApp, LINE and WeChat? | |
A6: | Yes, add-on numbers can be used for the registration of social media apps, including WhatsApp, LINE and WeChat.

A7: | All media file will be kept in device, please update the file path so you can retrieve media from File Manager of device anytime, please follow the below steps for retrieve file

Q4: | Is there any charges for receiving SMS/MMS via Add-on Numbers while I am abroad? |
