Q1: Can I get SmarTone Screen Replace™ separately without a service plan subscription?
A1:

SmarTone Screen Replace™ is only for purchasing any Smartphones or purchasing Smartphones with designated service plan subscription.

Q2: Is it a must to present the original repair invoice when making the reimbursement?
A2:

Yes. You need to present the original repair invoice to us for verification.

Q3: Can I join the 24-month SmarTone Screen Replace™ during my 12-month period?
A3:

No. You can only join it at the time of plan subscription.

Q4: If the repair is completed in another country's authorised repair centre(s), can I get the reimbursement?
A4:

The repair should be undertaken by the smartphone manufacturer(s) and/or its authorised repair centre(s) in Hong Kong. Repair by authorised repair centre(s) anywhere outside Hong Kong will not be reimbursed.

Q5: My repair receipt shows that there is more than one item repaired, will I be reimbursed for all repairs?
A5:

We will reimburse the cost of screen/LCD panel repair or replacement only. Please note that only accidental physical damages will be reimbursed. Once a valid reimbursement is made, all rights to any further reimbursement is extinguished.

  • SmarTone Screen Replace™ is restricted to covering the repair or replacement cost of accidental physical damage of the smartphone screen and/or its attached LCD panel.

  • New customers: subscribe to a designated 24-month service plan to enjoy the SmarTone Screen Replace offer. Existing customers within contract period extend contract to enjoy one year SmarTone Screen Replace™. For details, please contact our staff at store.


Terms and Conditions for SmarTone Screen Replace™

  • Upon accidental physical damage of the smartphone screen and/or its attached LCD panel, within 12 months of the effective date of Screen Replace, SmarTone will reimburse the cost of screen/LCD panel repair or replacement, once only within the first 12 months from the effective date of Screen Replace. The reimbursement is subject to submission by the customer of the official invoice from the smartphone manufacturer or its authorised repair centres as stipulated by SmarTone.
  • (Applicable to iPhone) The reimbursement is restricted to covering the repair or replacement cost of accidental physical damage of the handset screen and/or its attached LCD panel, and expressly excludes any other repair and refurbishment of any other component or the handset itself. If the smartphone manufacturer or its authorised repair centres, as stipulated by SmarTone, offer a handset replacement as the only option for repair, SmarTone may exercise discretion and will reimburse 60% on the cost of handset replacement. The reimbursement percentage can vary from time to time and SmarTone's decision on the validity for reimbursement is absolute and final.
