‘Consumers‘ No.1 Best Preferred 5G Network‘ is based on results obtained from study conducted by market research company NuanceTree, as commissioned by SmarTone. 3,942 post-paid SIM card users were interviewed via online survey and street interviews between Jan and Dec 2022.


The provision of the service is subject to the network coverage of the Company. In case particular spots where the 5G network are not available, we will continue to provide the service through 4G network. Internet experience can vary due to factors such as the relative position between user and the base stations, the download server resources, Internet traffic conditions, the number of users, users’ devices and other factors that may arise. Wi-Fi coverage depends on factors such as area & layout of the premises, construction materials, and other extraneous factors.


Choose 1 of 4 Limited-time rewards: Offer is valid for a limited period and photo is for reference only. Offer is applicable for new customer who subscribed to designated Home 5G Broadband service plan and designated mobile service plan; or existing customer who renewed/upgraded designated mobile service plan. To enjoy the offer, customer must subscribe to both services at the same time, and customer is required to activate the designated new mobile service within 180 days upon the contract subscription; or the mobile service has to be activated upon the contract renewal/upgrade date. Customer can enjoy 1 of the following limited-time rewards:


(i) 24-month of Disney+ Standard plan: new customer who subscribed to designated 5G mobile service plan; or existing customer to renew/upgrade designated 5G mobile service plan, Disney+ can enjoy a contract rebate of HK$81 per month in the first 17 bill months when subscribing to Disney+ Standard plan for a 24-month fixed term contract at the same time and upon the service activation of Disney+ Standard plan. If customer subscribes to designated Home 5G Broadband service plan at the same time and activate the designated new mobile service within 180 days upon the contract subscription; or the mobile service is activated upon the contract renewal/upgrade date, these customers of the Disney+ Standard plan can enjoy an extra monthly rebate offer of 7 months with a contract rebate of HK$81 per month, and will be activated automatically after the end of the first 17 months rebate of the Disney+ Standard plan and the end of the Home 5G Broadband 7-day Trial & Return Guarantee period. The subscription period of the Disney+ Standard plan included will depend on the contract of the selected service plan. Upon the expiry of the Disney+ Standard plan service contract, if customer continues to use the Disney+ Standard plan, they will be charged at the then current prevailing retail price of the relevant Disney+ Standard plan.
If (i) the customer fails to successfully subscribe to the designated mobile service plan; (ii) customer terminates the designated mobile service plan before service activation; (iii) customer fails to activate the service of the designated mobile service plan within 180 days upon the contract subscription; (iv) the mobile service is not activated upon the contract renewal/upgrade date; the customer can no longer enjoy any offers under the 24-month of Disney+ Service.
If the Home 5G Broadband service plan is cancelled before the contract period for any reason starting from the date of signing the contract, customer can no longer enjoy the extra monthly rebate offer of 7 months for the Disney+ Standard plan.


Free (ii) HK$900 Tablet & Accessory Voucher; (iii) Mesh Router Offer; or (iv) Free 24-month HomePhone+ service: Offer is applicable for new customer to subscribe designated Home 5G Broadband service plan and designated 5G/4.5G Mobile service plan; or existing customer to renew/upgrade designated 5G/4.5G Mobile service plan at the same time, customer can enjoy one of the following options: (ii) HK$900 Tablet & Accessory Voucher (iii) Free mesh router or; (iv) free 24-month HomePhone+ service. The HK$900 Tablet & Accessory Voucher will be entitled to customer from the effective date of the new Home 5G Broadband contract. Only applicable to designated tablets and accessories at the prevailing Subscriber Special Price at the Company's stores. The credit is valid for 365 days from the date of contract subscription. Customer can use the Discount Offer for one transaction only within the validity period. Any unused credit will be forfeited upon expiry. The remaining credit amount cannot be exchanged for cash or refund. The free Mesh Wi-Fi router will be entitled when customer subscribes Home 5G Broadband service plan. Free Mesh Wi-Fi router are available while stocks last. The free 24-month HomePhone+ service is only applicable to the Customer who subscribes the HomePhone+ service at designated residential area with a fixed home address (Residential home address is determined depends on the Company’s system records). If customer terminate the service under any circumstances, the free service period remaining will be forfeited, and there will be no re-selection on the gift. If the customer cancels the Service Plan before the 7-day Trial and Return Guarantee period: (i) the customer can no longer enjoy the HK$900 Tablet & Accessory Voucher and the discount enjoyed will be charged. (ii) the Mesh Wi-Fi Router must be returned to any SmarTone’s store within fourteen (14) days in the same condition as it was delivered, otherwise the original price of the will be charged; or (iii) the customer has to cancel the HomePhone+ service at the same time, and must return all HomePhone+ Service Equipment provided by the Company to any SmarTone‘s store within fourteen (14) days (Pay-as-you-go charges caused by IDD service(s) incurred must be paid by the Customer and any such paid charges will not be refunded), otherwise a fee of HK$1,632 (calculate base on HK$68/month) will be charged for the 24-month HomePhone+ service. If (i) the customer fails to successfully subscribe to the designated mobile service plan; (ii) customer terminate the designated mobile service plan before service activation; (iii) customer fails to activate the service of the designated mobile service plan within 180 days upon the contract subscription; or (iv) the mobile service is not activated upon the contract renewal/upgrade date, the customer can no longer enjoy the HK$900 Tablet & Accessory Voucher and the discount enjoyed will be charged; customer will be charged for the cost of Mesh Wi-Fi Router at its original price; or a fee of HK$1,632 (calculate base on HK$68/month) will be charged for the 24-month HomePhone+ service.


Home 5G Broadband service plan: Home 5G Broadband service plan special monthly fee is calculated based on the original monthly fee HK$238, after monthly rebate HK$90 has been given to customer. At the end of the contract, the Customer will be charged at the prevailing plan price and/or equipment rental monthly fee if the customer continues to use the service. The offer applies to customers registering for the designated SmarTone Home 5G Broadband service plan at a designated residential address for 30-month fix term contract. Router photo is for reference only. Customers are required to make prepayment of 1-month service and 5G Broadband service equipment rental service fee (if applicable). Customer who subscribes to the Company's designated Home 5G Broadband Service Plan is required to make a deposit of HK$1,500 for “5G Broadband Service Equipment Rental Service" (if applicable) which will be refunded in full upon return of the 5G Broadband service equipment in good workable condition. Customer who registers the Services for the first time is entitled to a 7-day Trial & Return Guarantee period commencing from the service activation date ("Service Activation Date") of the designated service plan of the Services. If the Customer cancels the Service Plan(s) within the 7-day Trial & Return Guarantee period, any other service plan(s) or value-added service(s) or related special offer subscribed together on the same application will also be cancelled and the Customer is not required to pay the monthly fee for the Service and 5G Broadband service equipment rental and refund of fee paid by customer for purchasing 5G Broadband service equipment shall be arranged upon return of the 5G Broadband service equipment to the Company.


Designated 5G mobile service plan: The offer is only applicable to new customer subscribing to or existing customer renewing for designated 5G Mobile service plan. The 4.5G Mobile service plan offer is only applicable to new customers / existing customers with a new subscription or renewing for designated service plan. A designated service plan with fixed-term contract subscription and an admin fee of HK$18 per month are required. Customer is further required to prepay designated amount of service fee and admin fee. The amount of required service fee prepayment, the extra data and/or free offers and/or the value of the premium to be given will depend on the contract subscription selected by the customer.


Disney+ Offer: This service is only available for SmarTone customers with an active monthly mobile service plan subscription and / or Home 5G Broadband monthly service plan subscription. Upon the expiry of the contract, customer will be charged at the then current prevailing retail price of the service if customer continues to use the service. Customer shall not be entitled to the rebate amount or any balance thereof if they switch the service/ cancel the service. The rebate amount cannot be exchanged for cash. Monthly fee rebate offer cannot be used in conjunction with other offers. Customer will receive an email or SMS notification about Disney+ service activation on the effective date of the Disney+ service. To activate Disney+ service, customer must complete the activation by creating a Disney+ account (or log into an existing Disney+ account (if applicable)) and entering required information at Disney+ website through the designated activation link provided by SmarTone per instruction stated in the notification. The Disney+ service must be used with supported devices such as compatible mobile devices that operate on the iOS or Android mobile operating systems and their designated software versions, or other compatible operating environments. If an Android mobile device does not support Google Play services, customer may not be able to use the Disney+ App to access the Disney+ service. The compatible mobile operating systems and their designated software versions for applicable mobile devices will be updated and changed from time to time; for details, please visit Disney+’s Help Centre. If customer has an existing Disney+ account, customer can link to it during Disney+ service activation. To avoid duplicated or unintended subscription and charge, customer must review / manage subscription on the “Account” page under the Disney+ account. For any queries regarding billing with Disney+ for the existing Disney+ account, please contact Disney+ customer service directly. If customer has an existing Disney+ subscription through a third party, he / she must manage that subscription directly via such third party. SmarTone shall in no event be responsible to give any prior reminder in this respect nor be liable for any customer’s failure to timely and properly review or manage their Disney+ subscription. If customer has a Disney+ Extra Member Add-on with The Walt Disney Company (Hong Kong) Limited, The Walt Disney Company (Hong Kong) Limited will continue to bill the customer on the Extra Member Add-on and give the customer access to the Extra Member Add-on until cancelled. Disney+ is a digital entertainment subscription service provided and operated by The Walt Disney Company (Hong Kong) Limited. Subject to relevant terms and conditions. Please refer to T&C-V162.


Designated Data Waiving for Disney+ Customers: Customer who uses his/her active SmarTone mobile service plan and has subscribed to any Disney+ plan through the Company shall enjoy the Disney+ local data waiver until 31 December, 2025 or such other date as the Company may specify from time to time, whichever is earlier. During such period, any monthly fees for such data waiver shall be waived (i.e., customer will not have to pay any such fees) and after such period such data waiver shall automatically lapse. This offer is subject to the T&C-V164.


General Terms and Conditions: Each designated contract subscription is entitled to the above offer once only. The Company reserves the right to offer an alternative gift of equivalent or approximate value. This offer cannot be used in conjunction with other subscription / re-contract offers. The above offers will be forfeited if the customer changes to other service plans/ fails to activate the service in 180 days upon the contract subscription, and the Company has the right to charge the full amount of the gift without prior notice. This offer cannot be transferred to any third party and is neither refundable nor exchangeable for cash. The Company reserves the right of final decision relating to the promotions and any dispute thereof, and may change the terms and conditions without prior notice.
