  • Using a Day Plan in China and Macau on the same day will only incur one daily fee. The daily fee will be charged a maximum of two times if the customer uses the plan in different designated destinations in Europe within the same day.
  • A day is defined as 00:00 to 23:59 (local time) in your destination.
  • This offer is not applicable to the HK$60 credit for local outgoing calls in the same city.

The tariffs quoted are for reference only, and are subject to change without prior notice according to the call type, charging unit, pricing schemes of overseas network operators, call duration, tax rates and exchange rate fluctuations. The charges and call duration will be determined by the call record in the system.

Terms and Conditions for this Service

  • Free Global Travel Insurance :
  • Customers who subscribe to “upgraded” roaming data day plan and aged below 75 will enjoy free global travel insurance (“Free Global Travel Insurance”) for the period from 8th December 2016 to 31th December 2017 (both days inclusive).
  • Only Customers who is an account holder or authorized user of our company’s services number will be eligible for the Free Global Travel Insurance (authorized user will be given first priority; authorized user must be registered in his own name). If there is no authorized user, the account holder of the services number must register in his own name.
  • The Customer will be entitled to the Free Global Travel Insurance on the day when he starts using the “upgraded” roaming data day plan to 23:59 local time of the visited destination.
  • The Free Global Travel Insurance is underwritten by SUN HUNG KAI PROPERTIES INSURANCE LTD and subject to the terms and conditions of SUN HUNG KAI PROPERTIES INSURANCE LTD, please click here.
  • SUN HUNG KAI PROPERTIES INSURANCE LTD has the sole discretion in determining the Customer’s eligibility to the Free Global Travel Insurance and is solely responsible for all approvals, coverage and compensations of its insurance plans.
  • Customers who are entitled to the Free Global Travel Insurance are required to agree and accept the policy on Personal Data (Privacy) Ordinance supplied by SUN HUNG KAI PROPERTIES INSURANCE LTD which will be used for including but not limited to underwrite contracts of insurance.   • SUN HUNG KAI PROPERTIES INSURANCE LTD’s customer service hotline at (852) 2828 7886. This is a dedicated enquiry hotline for customers serviced by SUN HUNG KAI PROPERTIES INSURANCE LTD. 24 Hours Worldwide Emergency Assistance Services hotline at (852) 2851 1990. The Emergency Assistance Services are arranged by Inter Partner Assistance Hong Kong Limited. Please quote your name, HKID No., registered phone no. and policy no. PAS/D/2016/600011 when medical evacuation and repatriation in overseas is required.
  • Our company may change the terms and conditions relating to the Customer’s entitlement to the Free Global Travel Insurance without giving prior notice. Our company‘s decision is final.
  • HK$60 outgoing call within same city :
  • The HK$60 credit for local outgoing calls in the same city will only be available after using a full fare “Upgraded” Roaming Data Day Plan. Standard roaming voice charges will apply if local outgoing calls in the same city are made prior to the use of the Plan.
  • The HK$60 credit for local outgoing calls in the same city cannot be redeemed for cash or carried forward. Any local voice charges exceeding the daily credit of HK$60 will be charged based on the standard roaming voice charge.
  • The HK$60 credit will be shared if a customer uses the plan between China and Macau within the same day. When a customer uses the plan twice in different designated destinations in Europe within the same day, the daily rate for the third European designated destination onwards will be waived. However, the HK$60 credit for local outgoing calls in the same city will not be available for that third country onwards.
  • The HK$60 credit for local outgoing calls in the same city is not applicable to the use of HK-China 1 Card 2 Numbers in China.

  • Top Spender Rewards :
  • All SmarTone customers who have used the Virtual WiFi Egg or the “Upgraded” Roaming Data Day Plan between 21 June 2017 and 30 September 2017 will automatically join this competition.
  • From 21 June 2016 to 23:59 on 30 September 2017, the first customer (per each mobile number) with the highest aggregate spending in using the Virtual WiFi Egg or the “Upgraded” Roaming Data Day Plan will be rewarded.
  • For customers who enjoy the free day entitlement, the related usage will not be counted.
  • If more than one customer share the same spending, the one who reach that spending at the earliest Hong Kong time (hh:mm:ss) will win.
  • The winner (one customer) will receive “4-Day 3-Night All Inclusive Package to Club Med Kabira Beach, Okinawa for 2 persons” and HK Express HK$4,000 gift voucher.
  • “4-Day 3-Night All Inclusive Package to Club Med Kabira Beach, Okinawa for 2 persons” includes: (1) Roundtrip transfer between Ishigaki airport and Club Med resort; (2) 3 meals daily; (3) Open bar and snacking; (4) Sports and leisure activities with a range of tuition; (5) Children’s clubs for 4 to 17 years old and (6) Nightly evening entertainment.
  • The Company is not the vendor of the package & the gift voucher. The use of the prizes will be subject to the relevant terms and conditions of the vendors.   • Package does not include: (1) Club Med membership fee (HK$280 per person aged over 11 years old); (2) Airport taxes and fuel surcharge and (3) Activities such as spa, scuba diving, etc.
  • All prizes are non-transferable and cannot be redeemed for cash or other prizes.
  • Business customers are not eligible to join the competition.
  • For the sake of fairness, SmarTone employees and their families are not eligible to join the competition.
  • The winners will be notified of the results and prize redemption details by email and SMS within two weeks after completion of the competition period. The email will be sent to their communication email addresses in our record. Prizes that have not been collected within the specific period will be forfeited.
