Campaign Promotion Terms

• The promotion period of this campaign runs from 21 October 2026,00:00 to 20 November 2026, 23:59 (subject to Hong Kong Time and the publication timestamp recorded by Instagram's system).
• To participate in this promotion, participants must fulfill all of the following requirements during the promotion period:
  o     Be a full-time student studying at a designated tertiary institution or university in Hong Kong (Click here for the list of designated institutions);
  o     Be an eligible subscriber of the Gen SmarT AI Trial Plan or Gen SmarT AI Plan (including both existing and new customers who have successfully registered for the designated plan on or before the promotion period);
  o     Create and publicly upload an Instagram Reel under the theme "How Would You Get Gen Z to Switch to SmarTone" using a legally held and controlled Instagram account. Submissions may be created using AI techniques or standard User Generated Content (UGC) formats;
  o     Tag SmarTone's official Instagram account @smartonehk and include the designated hashtag #SMTInternSIM in the Reel caption. Submissions without the required tag or hashtag will be deemed invalid and disqualified without prior notice;
  o     Maintain the participating Instagram account as "Public" throughout the evaluation period (from the promotion period until the winner list announcement).

• Each eligible user may participate in this promotion once only. Any duplicate participation, participation using accounts not owned by the participant, tagging of fake or invalid Instagram accounts may result in disqualification without prior notice.
• Current employees and interns of SmarTone (regardless of job position or employment nature) are not eligible to participate in this
• A total of three (3) winners will be selected based on the following comprehensive evaluation criteria:
  o    Relevance to the theme and message delivery
  o    Creativity and originality
  o    Visual appeal and overall production quality
  o    Commercial and marketing value
• Winners are expected to be contacted via private message on social media during the week of 30 November 2026.
• Upon receiving the notification, winners must respond within the specified timeframe as instructed in the private message and provide a copy of a valid full-time student card from a Hong Kong tertiary institution/university or equivalent supporting documents, as well as the mobile number registered under the eligible plan and registered subscriber name.
• Receipt of a private message does not constitute a formal offer of internship employment. All winners must fully pass the eligibility verification and background check, and formally sign the internship contract to secure the internship position.
• If a winner fails to respond within the specified timeframe, fails to provide valid supporting documents/mobile number, provides information inconsistent with registration records, fails the background check, refuses to sign the employment contract, or waives/fails to fulfill the internship arrangement due to personal reasons, SmarTone reserves the right to immediately disqualify the participant and replace them with backup candidates in ranked order without prior notice.
• The official winner list will be announced on SmarTone's official website and/or social media channels upon verification of all winners and completion of relevant procedures.

Internship Terms

• Each official winner will receive one SmarTone summer internship opportunity.
• The internship period is expected to run from June to August 2027, lasting approximately 8 to 10 weeks (the exact duration shall be arranged by SmarTone). The internship is a paid full-time position, with remuneration and terms subject to the formal internship contract.
• Winners must be legally eligible to work in Hong Kong. If a winner cannot be legally employed in Hong Kong due to visa issues, legal restrictions, or failure to obtain relevant work permits, their award and internship qualification will be cancelled, and SmarTone shall bear no liability whatsoever.
• Winners must meet SmarTone's designated employment terms and sign relevant contracts to be formally hired.
• Winners who complete the internship period with satisfactory performance will receive an internship certificate issued by SmarTone.
• The internship opportunity is non-transferable, non-refundable, and cannot be exchanged for other products, services, or offers.

Intellectual Property, Content Usage Rights, and General Terms

• Participants warrant that their entries are original (or generated directly under their instructions via AI) and do not infringe any third-party intellectual property rights. Participants shall bear full legal responsibility for any violations.
• By participating in this campaign, participants unconditionally and royalty-freely grant SmarTone and its affiliates a perpetual, worldwide right to use, reproduce, modify, edit, display, and publish their entries across all marketing channels and media (including but not limited to social media, TV, online, and offline advertisements) for promotion and publicity purposes, without prior consent or payment of any fees. Submissions must not contain inappropriate, violent, obscene, defamatory, politically sensitive, or copyright-infringing content. Participants warrant that their comments/captions are original and free from plagiarism.
• This promotion is in no way sponsored, endorsed, administered by, or associated with Instagram. Participants provide their information to SmarTone and not to Instagram.
• Personal data collected by SmarTone, including but not limited to name, student card details, contact phone number, and social media account details will be used solely for campaign communication, identity verification, prize arrangements, and subsequent recruitment processes, subject to SmarTone's Privacy Policy.
• SmarTone reserves the right to disqualify any participant and pursue legal action in the event of fraud, fake accounts, or dishonest practices.
• Disclaimer: SmarTone accepts no responsibility or liability for any delay, loss, error, or damage of data resulting from system failures, technical issues, network interruptions, Instagram platform issues, or force majeure events, and no compensation will be provided.
• SmarTone reserves the right to amend, suspend, or terminate this campaign and revise these Terms and Conditions at any time without prior notice.
• In case of any dispute, SmarTone reserves the right of final decision.

5G Mobile Phone Data SIM Card Free Trial Service under Gen SmarT AI Experience Plan:

• Customer can enjoy 30GB local data per month and unlimited local voice minutes per month for free at $0 monthly fee during the trial period (valid for 3 months after SIM activation) under Gen SmarT AI Experience Plan. The service will be terminated after the expiry of the trial period.
• Each identity document can only subscribe to the Gen SmarT AI Experience Plan once.
• The offer is only applicable to new number.
• Applicant must be aged 18 to 29 and valid identity document must be presented upon registration for this Service Plan.
• Local data top-up fee $50/10GB will be charged on 'Advise and Consent' basis. When the local data usage nearly reaches the monthly allowance, a SMS notification will be sent to the customer. The customer may purchase top-up data by replying to the SMS, top-up data is valid until the cut-off date of that bill month. If the customer does not purchase any top-up data, the data service will be suspended when the monthly allowance is used up, until the beginning of the next bill month.
• Customer is required to activate the services plan two working days after the registration of Gen SmarT AI Experience Plan.
• No chargeable services, including Value-Added Services (VAS), Pay By SmarTone Bill service, international roaming, roaming subscriptions, or any other fee-based services, shall be applied during the trial period.
• The Company reserves the right of final decision relating to the promotions and any dispute thereof, and may change the terms and conditions without prior notice.

• SmarTone will send an Address Registration Confirmation Letter to your registration address, please confirm your registration address by submitting the confirmation letter or providing a valid address proof issued within 14 days from the service agreement date. If you fail to do so, the Company is entitled to reject your service application and/or suspend or terminate any service provided to you. Valid address proof (e.g. Water Supply Bill, Electricity Bill, Gas Supply Bill and Bank Statement) should be issued.
• LogInNow lets you easily access My Account to check your bills and data usage, make changes to your account details, as well as access SmarTone services requiring login (including hotline services). We will send you the first-time setup details via SMS. Please go to smartone.com/LogInNow/en to set up LogInNow.
• General Terms and Conditions of Product and Services and Privacy Policy of SmarTone Group at smartone.com .
• Our Company reserves the right of final decision relating to the promotion and any dispute thereof, and may change the Terms and Conditions without prior notice.

Gen SmarT AI Plan:

• Monthly fee HK$98/HK$138 is based on the original monthly fee HK$128/HK$178 for Gen SmarT AI Plan, after a rebate of HK$30/HK$40 per month credited to the customer during the contract period. After expiry of the contract, the customer will be charged at the prevailing comparable plan if the customer continues to use the service.
• Administration Fee Waiver Offer: Customer can enjoy Administration Fee Waiver offer starting from the first bill month within the contract period; the period between service activation day and first bill day will be charged on a pro-rate basis based on the original charge. Administration Fee Waiver offer is calculated based on the original HK$18 per month, after a rebate of HK$18 per month has been given to the customer within the contract period. At the end of the rebate period, the customer will be charged at the prevailing Administration Fee if the customer continues to use the service.
• Other services included: 500 Intra SMS, voicemail, call forwarding, caller number display, call waiting and conference call.

Subscription Offer:

• Offer is only applicable to customer who subscribes / re-contracts / upgrades to a designated service plan. Customer is required to subscribe a designated service plan, sign a designated fixed-term contract subscription and pay an admin fee of HK$18 per month (if applicable).
• Customer is further required to prepay designated amount of service fee and admin fee. The amount of required service fee prepayment, the extra data and/or free offers and/or the value of the premium to be given will depend on the contract subscription selected by the customer.

Unlimited Local Data:

• Only available to customers who have subscribed to a designated 5G service plan contract subscription. When monthly data usage of the designated 5G service plan reaches the plan's total local data allowance, data service continues with data speed up to 1Mbps in 5G network. Upon expiry of the contract period, the customer may continue to use the service. The plan cannot be used in conjunction with DataRoam Plan.
• Applicable to Customer who has subscribed to the "Add-On SIM card": for the “Main SIM card” and “5G Add-On SIM card” (If applicable), data service continues with data speed up to 1Mbps in 5G network; for “4.5G Full Speed Add-On SIM card” (If applicable), data service continues with data speed up to 1Mbps in 4.5G network.
• Subject to relevant terms and conditions. Please refer to T&C-T384 for details.

Port-in Offer:

• Customers can enjoy extra Double-up Local Data offer per month within the contract period, the extra local data is equivalent to the local data allowance of the service plan at the time of subscription.
• The extra local data under this offer will be forfeited if the Customer changes to other service plans.
• The extra local data cannot be used in conjunction with DataRoam Plan.
• Each service plan is entitled to the offer once only.

AI Connect Service:

• This service is only available for SmarTone customers with a mobile monthly service plan subscription.
• Customer is required to sign up for a designated contract. Monthly fee rebate of HK$38 will be credited in every bill month within the contract / free period, the offer will automatically terminate upon contract / free period expiry.
• AI Connect service is currently applicable to the web-based versions of the respective AI platforms only. When using the designated web-based or device-based AI tools, users may need to register separately.
• SmarTone reserves the right of final decision related to the service and reserves the right to suspend and/or terminate this service and/or revise the Terms & Conditions at any time without prior notice. Subject to relevant terms and conditions. Please refer to T&C-V172 for details.

Local Data-FREE Access to Popular AI Platforms:

• The service is applicable to selected customers only. Eligible customers can enjoy local AI data waiver within the contract / free period, the offer will automatically terminate upon contract / free period expiry.
• When customers access designated AI platforms, the relevant local AI data usage will be waived. The company reserves the right to update the applicable AI platforms from time to time.
• Subject to relevant terms and conditions. Please refer to T&C-V173 for details.

Anytime Music Service:

• The service is applicable to selected customers only. Eligible customers can enjoy free Anytime Music Service within the contract / free period, the offer will automatically terminate upon contract / free period expiry.
• The available designated music streaming apps will be updated and amended from time to time. Please ask our store assistants or visit the Company website for details.
• The designated music streaming apps are provided by a third supplier. The content and the settings of those apps may change from time to time without any notice. The Company makes no representation or guarantee as to the quality and availability of the services or information provided by the third suppliers.
• The unlimited data usage under "Anytime Music" is only applicable to the local data usage incurred by listening to music within the designated music streaming apps on smartphone. Data usage incurred by apps download, software update, account registration and login, advertisement, upload, download and live video, non-music contents (including but not limited to the text, images, header files, app analytics, using in- app location based features, and any video/music streamed over VPN) within the designated apps are excluded. When the monthly local data allowance of the plan has been fully consumed and the data service is suspended, the "Anytime Music" service will also be suspended until next bill month and will only be resumed once the customer purchases data top-up options.

3GB/4GB per month Chinese Mainland & Macau Roaming Data Pack:

• The 5G Service Plan includes 3GB/4GB of roaming data per month for use in Chinese Mainland and Macau. The monthly 3GB/4GB data allowance of the Package can be used in Chinese Mainland and Macau and only available for existing customers of the Company's designated monthly mobile service plan. Customers should activate "Data Roaming Day Pass" at the same time. When the Customer is located in Chinese Mainland and Macau and the data usage has exceeded the monthly allowance of the Package, the Company will notify the Customer by SMS. The Customer may reply by SMS to purchase a top-up of the Package at the charge as specified in the SMS received. If the Customer does not reply to top-up, any subsequent data roaming usage will be deducted from other roaming products. If no other product is available, customers will be charged at a fixed daily rate automatically. Our company reserves the right of final decision related to these offers and to change the Terms & Conditions without prior notice. Subject to relevant terms and conditions. 5 days APAC Multi-Day Roaming Data Pack within contract period:

• The Free 5 days APAC Multi-Day Roaming Data Pack (in contract) is calculated based on the original monthly fee HK$5, after a rebate of HK$5 per month has been given to the customer within contract period. The Customer shall use the “5 days APAC Multi-Day Roaming Data Pack (in contract)” for the period specified in the Sales and Services Agreement. The term shall start from the service effective date. “Data Roaming Day Pass" should be activated at the same time. 1 Data Pass can be deducted to offset 1 daily charge of Data Roaming Day Pass at designated destinations. Data Pass is not required to be used on consecutive days. When daily data usage reaches 1.2GB in a destination, the data speed will be capped at 512kbps. An SMS notification will be sent to the customer, who may reply to the SMS to purchase additional full speed roaming data at the prevailing rate. The remaining entitlement of the “Multi-Day Roaming Data Pack” will be automatically forfeited when the Term expires. If the number of days of Data Roaming Day Pass used by the customer exceeds the number of Data Pass owned by the customer; or if the customer uses Data Roaming Day Pass in non-designated destinations, the customer will be charged at the regular price of Data Roaming Day Pass. Data Pass is only available to main SIM mobile number under designated service plan. All registered mobile numbers under the same service plan must activate / switch on Data Roaming Day Pass and Roaming service to enjoy Data Pass upon subscription from main SIM. If 2 mobile numbers under the same service plan use Data Pass at the same time, 2 days would be deducted from the Data Pass. The daily service of “Multi-Day Roaming Data Pack” is provided by “Data Roaming Day Pass” and is subject to relevant terms and conditions. T&C apply (T&C-I025).

SmarTone Membership Programme and Privilege︰

• Customers who subscribe or renew a designated mobile service plan will become either (i) a SmarTone PRIORITY member, with membership period is the same as that designated contract period; or (ii) a SmarTone Member, with lifetime validity.
• Fixed-term contract is required for SmarTone PRIORITY or SmarTone Members.
• The Company may terminate or change the terms and conditions of SmarTone Membership Programme at any time without prior notice.

General Terms and Conditions:

• Each designated contract subscription is entitled to the above offer once only. The Company reserves the right to offer an alternative gift of equivalent or approximate value. This offer cannot be used in conjunction with other subscription / re-contract / upgrade / Add-on SIM card offers. The above offers will be forfeited if the customer changes to other service plans/ cannot activate the service in 180 days upon the contract subscription, and the Company has the right to charge the full amount of the gift without prior notice. This offer cannot be transferred to any third party and is neither refundable nor exchangeable for cash. The Company reserves the right of final decision relating to the promotions and any dispute thereof, and may change the terms and conditions without prior notice.
