Thereafter charge for local data HK$50/10GB or HK$80/5G Unlimited Data (data speed up to 5Mbps) will be charged on 'Advise and Consent' basis. 'Advise and Consent' basis: At any time when the local data usage on a plan nearly reaches the monthly allowance, an SMS notification will be sent to the customer. The customer may reply to the SMS to purchase a top-up that will be valid until the end of this bill month. If no top-up is purchased, data service will be suspended when the data usage has reached the allowance. Customer may purchase a top-up at any time to resume service, or wait until the beginning of the next bill month to commence service again with the new monthly data allowance.

Monthly Fee HK$698 is calculated based on customer subscribing to 5G SIM only Monthly Plan at HK$398 (after the deduction of designated contract bonus) & HK$300 Monthly charge as Special Handset Price within the contract period to purchase a Samsung Galaxy Note20|Note20 Ultra.

Monthly fee HK$398 is calculated based on the original monthly fee HK$458 for 5G SIM Only Service Plan, after a contract bonus of HK$60 per month has been given to the customer within the contract period. At the end of the contract, the customer will be charged at the prevailing comparable plan if the customer continues to use the service.

Monthly fee HK$120 is calculated based on the original monthly fee HK$138 for each 5G Add-On SIM card, after a contract bonus of HK$18 per month has been given to the customer within the contract period. At the end of the contract, the customer will be charged at the prevailing comparable plan if the customer continues to use the service.

Free “SmarT Data Bank” is calculated based on the original monthly fee HK$88 for “SmarT Data Bank”, after a contract bonus of HK$88 per month has been given to the customer within the contract period. At the end of the contract, the customer will be charged at the prevailing comparable plan if the customer continues to use the service.

*Customers can enjoy Extra 20GB Local Data offer per month within the contract period upon a designated 5G service plan (80GB) contract subscription.

^ When monthly data usage reaches the plan's data allowance, data service continues with data speed up to 5Mbps.

The Talk Freely Pack Service Plan includes unlimited local voice minutes and unlimited local data usage. The unlimited data usage under the Talk Freely Pack Service Plan is only applicable to the local data usage incurred by the designated apps on smartphone. Data usage incurred by apps download and software update are excluded. When the monthly local data allowance of the designated service plan has been fully consumed and the data service is suspended, the unlimited data usage under the Talk Freely Pack Service Plan will also be suspended until next bill month and will only be resumed once the Customer purchases data top-up options. For any Customer who subscribes the Specified Service Plan with a designated data speed, when monthly local data usage reaches the specified data usage under the Specified Service Plan, local data service of the Specified Service Plan and the Talk Freely Pack Service Plan continues but data speed will be at up to the designated data speed under the Specified Service Plan, data service experience may be affected.

Free for Talk Freely Pack is calculated based on the original monthly fee HK$18, after a contract bonus of HK$18 per month has been given to the customer within the contract period. At the end of the contract, the customer will be charged at the prevailing comparable plan if the customer continues to use the service. (The free offer is only applicable to designated plan contract subscription)

# The free Greater Bay Area Data Pack is calculated based on the original monthly fee HK$76, after a rebate of HK$76 per month has been given to the customer within contract period.

V A 12-month contract is required for hmvod. A rebate of $48 per month will be given in first, third and sixth bill months within contract period. Service Plan includes "VIP UNLIMITED" VOD programme and 2 hmvod movie coupons per month. hmvod movie coupons can be used for renting programmes tagged with "VOUCHER“ (“the Rental”). The movie voucher required for the Rental marked with "VOUCHER" on their respective information pages. At the end of the rebate period, the customer will be charged at the prevailing original monthly fee of the service if the customer continues to use the service.

Cyber-security Smart Protector Upgraded includes Call Guard, Norton Security & Norton Secure VPN (for one device). A 12-month contract is required. A rebate of $36 per month will be given in first 3 bill months within contract period. Unless otherwise specified by the customer to terminate the service not less than 30 days before the Term expired, the Term will be automatically extended at the prevailing service plan for successive periods of Term.

+ Gamergizer offer: Only applicable to Gamergizer (12 -month contract). 12-month contract is required. Frist 3 months service fee offer is calculated based on the original monthly fee HK$38, after a rebate of HK$38 per month has been given to the customer. The rebate will be credited to customer in next bill month upon the service subscription of Gamergizer.

Other services included: Intra SMS, voicemail, call forwarding, caller number display, call waiting and conference call.

  • Only applicable to new customers / existing customers with a new subscription or designated existing customers. A designated service plan with 20/24/28/30 months contract subscription and an admin fee of HK$18 per month are required.
  • The extra data and/or free offers and/or the value of the premium depend on the contract subscription selected.
  • Customer can enjoy HK$1,500 Accessory Credit offer once upon the contract subscription of a designated plan to purchase Galaxy Buds Live once. Available while stock last.

  • 5G SIM Only Monthly Plan:
  • 24-month contract subscription and an admin fee of HK$18 per month are required.
  • Additional voice minutes charge HK$0.9/min.
  • Call duration is rounded up to full charge units for computation purposes. Each full charge unit is based on a per minute airtime charge.
  • Free intra SMS is available when using a phone to send local SMS to SmarTone customers.

  • 5G service plans are not applicable to 2G phones/ connected devices or any phones/ connected devices which have manually opted for 2G network.   • 5G Add-on SIM card:
  • Only available to customers who subscribe to a designated 5G service plan contract subscription. Each registered mobile number of the specified 5G service plan (“Main SIM card”) can subscribe maximum 4 5G Add-on SIM card.
  • Customers opting for 5G Add-on SIM card, the contract end date of each 5G Add-on SIM card will be the same as the 5G service plan.
  • Specified data usage and voice usage under designated 5G service plan will be shared between all 5G Add-on SIM cards. The accumulated usage of Main SIM card and all 5G Add-on SIM cards will be counted towards the usage of the designated 5G service plan.
  • Additional voice minutes charge HK$0.9/min.

  • Extra Local Data Offer:
  • Only available to customers who subscribe to a designated 5G service plan contract subscription.
  • (Applicable to customer opting for 5G Add-on SIM cards) The extra local data entitlement depends on the number of 5G Add-on SIM cards customer selected. If customer subscribe to in total 2 5G Add-on SIM cards, customer will be entitled to extra 50GB local data upon 2nd 5G Add-on SIM card subscription; If customer subscribe to in total 3 5G Add-on SIM cards, customer will be entitled to extra 100GB local data upon 3rd 5G Add-on SIM card subscription; If customer subscribe to in total 4 5G Add-on SIM cards, customer will be entitled to extra 150GB local data upon 4th 5G Add-on SIM card subscription.
  • The extra local data will be forfeited if the Customer changes to other service plans / change or cancel 5G Add-on SIM card.
  • Each service plan is entitled to the offer once only.

  • Greater Bay Area Data Pack :
  • The Greater Bay Area Data Pack (“this service plan”) monthly data allowance can be shared in China and Macau.
  • The Service plan is only available for customers who have subscribed to the Company’s designated monthly mobile service plan with a Hong Kong Identity Card. Applicants for this service plan must be the account holder of the company's monthly mobile service plan.
  • The customer will be entitled Free “Easy Number” Service within contract period at the time of contract effective date of Greater Bay Area Data Pack (Free “Easy Number” Service only applicable to Primary SIM Card).   • (If applicable) If Primary SIM Card customer subscribe the Greater Bay Area Data Pack, all mobile numbers under the designated plan should also activate Virtual WiFi Egg or “Upgraded” Roaming Data Day Plan at the same time.
  • When the Customer is within the location of China and Macau, and if the Customer’s accumulated China Macau data usage exceeds Greater Bay Area Data Pack monthly allowance and (If applicable) the data allowance carried forward, the China Macau data service will be charged automatically by Virtual WiFi Egg or “Upgraded” Roaming Data Day Plan subscribed by the customer.
  • When the Customer is within the location of any of the overseas destinations other than China and Macau, the daily roaming data usage will be charged by Virtual WiFi Egg or “Upgraded” Roaming Data Day Plan subscribed by the customer.
  • Greater Bay Area Data Pack cannot be subscribed in conjunction with designated DataRoam services or designated Roaming Data Plan.
  • Greater Bay Area Data Pack cannot be subscribed separately in conjunction with “Easy number” Service (excluding the secondary SIM Cards/ Add-on SIM cards of the designated plan).
  • (Applicable to designated plan) Greater Bay Area Data Pack is only available to Primary SIM Card. All mobile numbers under the designated plan can enjoy the monthly roaming data allowance and (If applicable) the data allowance carried forward upon subscription of the Primary SIM Card.

  • Easy Number Service:
  • Easy Number is only available for customers who have subscribed to the Company's monthly mobile service plan with a Hong Kong Identity Card. Applicants for this service must be the account holder of the company's monthly mobile service plan.
  • Each Hong Kong Identity Card holder can only subscribe to a maximum number of 3 Standard Plans of the Service, while each SmarTone mobile phone number registering with the same HKID holder can subscribe to one Standard Plan only. Each Standard Plan will be allocated one China mobile phone number. If a Customer registers more than 3 Standard Plans for this Service, SmarTone reserves the right to terminate the oversubscribed plan(s) and its China mobile number.
  • The Customer must agree with the arrangement of Registration of True Identity Information of users for China mobile numbers. For details, please refer to the relevant Terms and Conditions of this Service.

  • Maximum balance of data to be carried forward is limited to: 500GB for local data and 10GB for designated China and Macau data. Any unused and related eligible data to be carried forward before the end of bill month cannot be carried forward and will be forfeited if balance of data to be carried forward reach the limit.

  • Discount Handset Price:
  • A contract subscription of designated 5G service plan and designated monthly charge for handset within contract period (“Discount Handset Price”) to purchase designated handset are required.
  • Prepayment and (where applicable) one-off additional handset price are required. The Discount Handset Price, prepayment amount and one-off additional handset price vary according to the smartphone model selected by the customer.
  • Prepayment amount will be credited to the customer during the contract period according to the credit arrangement specified in the Sales and Services Agreement (or Supplemental Agreement to the Sales and Services Agreement).
  • The Customer shall not be entitled to the Credit Amount or any balance thereof if cancel the service plan/ change to other service plan.
  • The Credit Amount cannot be exchanged for cash.
  • Customers who purchase the designated smartphones can enjoy 12 months Upgraded Back-to-Front SmarTone Screen Replace™ for free.

  • Accessory Credit Offer:

  • Upon accidental physical damage of the smartphone screen and/or its attached LCD panel and/or back cover, within 12 months of the effective date of Screen Replace, SmarTone will reimburse the cost of screen/LCD panel and/or back cover repair or replacement, once only within the first 12 months from the effective date of Screen Replace.
  • The reimbursement is subject to submission by the customer of the official invoice from the smartphone manufacturer or its authorised repair centres as stipulated by SmarTone.

For smartphone manufacturer or its authorised repair centre that offer a handset replacement as the only option for repair, SmarTone may at its discretion reimburse 60% on the cost of handset replacement. The reimbursement percentage can vary from time to time. SmarTone has the right to make the final decision in relation to the reimbursement.

  • hmvod:
  • This service is only available for SmarTone customers with a mobile monthly service plan subscription.
  • Customer shall not be entitled to the rebate amount or any balance thereof if change to other service/ cancel this service; The rebate amount cannot be exchanged for cash.
  • Monthly fee rebate offer cannot be used in conjunction with other offers.
  • This service can be used on smartphones running designated software versions of compatible mobile operating systems of iOS, Android, Windows Phone and BlackBerryR. For Android smartphone which does not support Google Play services, the Value-Added Service will not be applicable on the smartphone.   • At the end of this contract, the Company will continue to provide the service and the customer will be charged at the prevailing rate.
