5G Subscription Offer:
  • An advance payment of monthly fee and admin fee are required. The number of months of an advance payment, the extra data and/or free offers and/or the value of the premium depend on the contract subscription selected.
  • Each new customer will only be entitled to any welcome subscription offer once only.
  • Each designated contract subscription is entitled to the above offer once only. The Company reserves the right to offer an alternative gift of equivalent or approximate value. This offer cannot be used in conjunction with other subscription / re-contract offers.
  • The above offers will be forfeited if the customer changes to other service plans, and the Company has the right to charge the full amount of the gift without prior notice.
Undergrad 5G Plan:
  • Applicant must be aged 18 or above and a full-time student of designated post-secondary education institutions in Hong Kong. Designated post-secondary education institutions in Hong Kong include accredited universities in Hong Kong, Caritas Institute of Higher Education, Caritas Bianchi College of Careers, Centennial College, Chu Hai College of High Education, Gratia Christian College, Hang Seng University of Hong Kong, HKCT Institute of Higher Education, Hong Kong College of Technology, HKU SPACE, Hong Kong Nang Yan College of Higher Education, Tung Wah College, Vocational Training Council or Hong Kong Academy for Performing Arts. Also applicable to applicant aged 18 to 25 with valid overseas post-secondary education institutions student ID card. Valid student ID card and identity document must be presented upon registration for the Student Plan. Each identity document can only subscribe to the Student Plan once.
  • An admin fee of HK$18/month and a fixed term contract are required. (if applicable)
  • Call duration is rounded up to full charge units for computation purposes. Each full charge unit is based on a per minute airtime charge.
  • Intra SMS is text SMS sent within Hong Kong to SmarTone customers and is subject to a monthly quota of 500 Intra SMS units ("Quota"). If the usage exceeds the Quota, the thereafter charge is HK$0.3 per Intra SMS; charge per Inter-network SMS is HK$0.6. Each SMS is calculated on 160 English characters or 70 Chinese characters basis. If your message exceeds this limitation, it will be transmitted in form of multiple SMS.
  • Roaming charge & standard roaming data charge apply when roaming. Please ask our store assistants or visit our website for details.
  • 5G service plans are not applicable to 2G phones/ connected devices or any phones/ connected devices which have manually opted for 2G network. If the customer uses this plan on any 2G phones/ connected devices or any phones/ connected devices which have manually opted for 2G network, any charges which may incur will be borne by the customer. Actual data transmission speeds may vary due to Internet traffic conditions, local conditions, hardware, software and other conditions which may arise.
  • Plans are not applicable to BlackBerry smartphones with BlackBerry 7 OS and earlier versions.
  • Plans cannot be used in conjunction with DataRoam Plan.

Online Exclusive Offer:
  • Only available to customers who subscribe to the designated 5G Student Plan.
  • Only applicable to new customers / existing customers with a new subscription, and the subscription is made through SmarTone Online Store.
  • Customers can enjoy extra Double-up Local Data offer per month in the first 3 bill months within the contract period, the extra local data is equivalent to the local data allowance of the service plan at the time of subscription.
  • The extra local data under this offer will be forfeited if the Customer changes to other service plans.
  • The extra local data cannot be used in conjunction with DataRoam Plan.
  • Each service plan is entitled to the offer once only.
Free 4GB per month Mainland & Macau Roaming Data Pack:
  • The Free 4GB per month Mainland & Macau Roaming Data Pack ("the Package") is calculated based on the original monthly fee HK$118, after a rebate of HK$118 per month has been given to the customer within contract period. The monthly 4GB data allowance of the Package can be used in Mainland and Macau and only available for existing customers of the Company's designated monthly mobile service plan. Customers should activate "Data Roaming Day Pass" at the same time. When the Customer is located in Mainland and Macau and the data usage has exceeded the monthly allowance of the Package, the Company will notify the Customer by SMS. The Customer may reply by SMS to purchase a top-up of the Package at the charge as specified in the SMS received. If the Customer does not reply to top-up, any subsequent data roaming usage will be deducted from other roaming products. If no other product is available, customers will be charged at a fixed daily rate automatically. 
  • Our company reserves the right of final decision related to these offers and to change the Terms & Conditions without prior notice. Subject to relevant terms and conditions. Please refer to (T&C-I041).
Anytime Music Service:
  • Only applicable to customer who has subscribed to the designated Student Plan.
  • Customer opting for "Anytime Music" service, the contract end date will be the same as the designated Student Plan. (if applicable)
  • The available designated music streaming apps will be updated and amended from time to time. Please ask our store assistants or visit the Company website for details.
  • The designated music streaming apps are provided by a third supplier. The content and the settings of those apps may change from time to time without any notice. The Company makes no representation or guarantee as to the quality and availability of the services or information provided by the third suppliers.
  • Subject to relevant terms and conditions. Please refer to T&C-T316  for details.
Talk Freely Pack Service:
  • Only available to customer who has subscribed to a designated Service Plan.
  • The available designated apps will be updated and amended from time to time. Please ask our store assistants or visit the Company website for details.
  • The designated apps are provided by a third supplier. The content and the settings of those apps may change from time to time without any notice. The Company makes no representation or guarantee as to the quality and availability of the services or information provided by the third suppliers.
  • The Talk Freely Pack Service Plan does not include the subscription fee and other items / service purchased by the designated apps.
  • (If applicable) Upon the subscription of the designated Family Service Plan / designated 5G service plan with the Talk Freely Pack Service Plan, all mobile numbers under the Plan can enjoy the Talk Freely Pack Service.
  • The local data speed under the Talk Freely Pack Service Plan follows the Specified Service Plan subscribed by the Customer.
  • For any Customer who subscribes the Specified Service Plan with a designated data speed, when monthly local data usage reaches the specified data usage under the Specified Service Plan, local data service of the Specified Service Plan and the Talk Freely Pack Service Plan continues but data speed will be at up to the designated data speed under the Specified Service Plan, data service experience may be affected.

HK$1,200 Handset & Accessory Voucher:
  • Customers can enjoy Handset and Accessories Discount Offer for designated handset and accessory purchase upon subscription of a designated 5G service plan under fixed-term contract. The amount of the discount offer to be given will depend on the contract subscription selected by the customer. Customer is required to purchase designated handset and accessory at the prevailing Recommended Retail Price at the Company's stores. A prepayment of designated amount of service fee is required (If applicable). Prepayment amount depends on the service plan selected. The prepayment amount will be credited to the customer according to the rebate arrangement specified in the Sales and Services Agreement (or Supplemental Agreement to the Sales and Services Agreement) upon the activation. The prepayment amount will be credited to customer’s bank account via Faster Payment System (FPS) or will be credited to customers' monthly bill and the mobile services plan must be still activated. Customers must ensure the accuracy and completeness of the FPS information provided (If applicable). The rebate method depends on customers' selection. The offer is valid for 180 days from the date of contract subscription or the date of contract renewal acceptance. Customer can use the discount offer for one transaction only and can enjoy 12 months' Upgraded Back-to-Front “SmarTone Screen Replace™” for free upon designated handset purchase.
Upgraded Back-to-Front SmarTone Screen Replace™:
  • SmarTone Screen Replace™ is provided by Avo Insurance Company Limited and Sun Hung Kai Properties Insurance Limited (collectively "Avo").
  • Upon accidental physical damage of the designated Smartphone/Wearable devices screen and/or its back cover, Avo will reimburse the cost of screen/ back cover repair or replacement, once only within the first 12 months from the effective date of Screen Replace. The reimbursement is subject to submission by the customer of the official invoice (must include the IMEI number of the device) from the manufacturer or its authorised repair centres as stipulated by Avo. The maximum amount of the smartphone reimbursement is HK$3,000 per claim. The maximum amount of the wearable device reimbursement is HK$1,500 per claim.
  • The reimbursement is restricted to covering the repair or replacement cost of accidental physical damage of the designated handset/Wearable devices screen as well as back cover, and expressly excludes any other repair and refurbishment of any other component or the handset itself. If the manufacturer or its authorised repair centres, as stipulated by AVO, offer a replacement as the only option for repair, Avo may exercise discretion and will reimburse up to 60% on the cost of replacement, subject to the maximum limit per device. The reimbursement percentage can vary from time to time and Avo's decision on the validity for reimbursement is absolute and final.

Disney+:
  • This Service is only available for SmarTone Customers with an active monthly mobile service plan subscription and Home 5G Broadband monthly service plan subscription.
  • Upon the expiry of the contract, the customer will be charged at the prevailing retail price of the service if the customer continues to use the service. Customer shall not be entitled to the rebate amount or any balance thereof if change to other service/ cancel this service. The rebate amount cannot be exchanged for cash. Monthly fee rebate offer cannot be used in conjunction with other offers.
  • Customer will receive an email or SMS notification about Disney+ service activation on the effective date of the Service. To activate Disney+ service, Customer must complete the activation by creating a Disney+ account (or log into an existing Disney+ account (if applicable)) and entering required information at Disney+ website through the designated activation link provided by SmarTone per instruction stated in the notification.
  • The Disney+ service must be used with supported devices such as compatible mobile devices that operate on the iOS or Android mobile operating systems and their designated software versions, or other compatible operating environments. If an Android mobile device does not support Google Play services, Customer may not be able to use the Disney+ App to access the Disney+ service. The compatible mobile operating systems and their designated software versions for applicable mobile devices will be updated and changed from time to time; for details, please visit Disney+'s Help Centre.
  • If Customer has an existing Disney+ account, Customer can link to it during Disney+ service activation. To avoid duplicated or unintended subscription and charge, Customer must review / manage subscription on the 'Account' page under the Disney+ account. For any queries regarding billing with Disney+ for the existing Disney+ account, please contact Disney+ customer service directly. If Customer has an existing Disney+ subscription through a third party, he / she must manage that subscription directly via such third party. SmarTone shall in no event be responsible to give any prior reminder in this respect nor be liable for any Customer's failure to timely and properly review or manage their Disney+ subscription.
  • If Customer has a Disney+ Extra Member Add-on with The Walt Disney Company (Hong Kong) Limited, The Walt Disney Company (Hong Kong) Limited will continue to bill the Customer on the Extra Member Add-on and give the Customer access to the Extra Member Add-on until cancelled.
  • Disney+ is a digital entertainment subscription service provided and operated by The Walt Disney Company (Hong Kong) Limited.
  • Subject to relevant terms and conditions. Please refer to T&C-V162 for details.
Designated Data Waiving for Disney+ Customers:
  • Customer who uses his/her active SmarTone mobile service plan and/or Home 5G Broadband monthly service plan and has subscribed to any Disney+ plan through SmarTone shall enjoy the Disney+ local data waiver until December 31, 2025 or such other date as SmarTone may specify from time to time whichever is earlier. During such period, any monthly fees for such data waiver shall be waived (i.e., customer will not have to pay any additional monthly fee). Thereafter, such data waiver shall be automatically cancelled. This offer is subject to T&C-V164.
SmarTone Plus membership & privilege:
  • Customers who subscribe or renew designated mobile service plan will enjoy SmarTone Plus membership and the membership offered depends on the service plan selected. Membership period of designated membership tier will be 13 months.
  • For members who have met the qualifying spending level during the eligible spending period, their membership will be renewed or upgraded.
  • Fixed-term contract is required for designated membership tier.
  • The Company may terminate or change the terms and conditions of SmarTone Plus at any time without prior notice.
  • Offers may vary and are subject to change without prior notice. Learn more at SmarTone CARE app or www.smartone.com.
General Terms and Conditions:
  • Customers cannot enjoy this offer in conjunction with other offers.
  • This offer cannot be transferred to any third party and is neither refundable nor exchangeable for cash or other services/products.
  • Subject to relevant terms and conditions.
  • The Company reserves the right of final decision relating to the promotions and any dispute thereof, and may change the terms and conditions without prior notice.

  • Monthly fee HK$159 is based on the original monthly fee HK$208 for 5G Student Plan, after a rebate of HK$49 per month credited to the customer during the contract period. After expiry of the contract, the customer will be charged at the prevailing comparable plan if the customer continues to use the service.

  • Welcome Offer: Customers can enjoy HK$1,200 Handset & Accessory Voucher Offer for designated handset and accessory purchase upon subscription of a designated 5G service plan under fixed-term contract. Price HK$1,599 is based on customers can enjoy HK$1,200 Handset & Accessory Voucher Offer and purchase iPad (A16) Wi-Fi 128GB  (Recommended Retail Price: HK$2,799). Free AirPods 4 is based on customers can enjoy HK$1,200 Handset & Accessory Voucher Offer and purchase AirPods 4 (Recommended Retail Price: HK$1,099).

  • #1Customer is required to purchase iPad (A16) Wi-Fi 128GB (Recommended Retail Price: HK$2,799) at the Company's stores and with the HK$1,200 Handset & Accessory Voucher Offer, and a prepayment of service fee HK$1,100 is required.
    #2Customer is required to purchase AirPods 4 (Recommended Retail Price: HK$1,099) at the Company's stores and with the HK$1,200 Handset & Accessory Voucher Offer, and a prepayment of service fee HK$1,100 is required.
    #3Customer is required to purchase designated handset and accessory at the prevailing Recommended Retail Price at the Company's stores, and a prepayment of service fee HK$1,100 is required.

    The prepayment amount will be credited to the customer according to the rebate arrangement specified in the Sales and Services Agreement (or Supplemental Agreement to the Sales and Services Agreement) upon the activation.

  • The free Mainland China & Macau Data Service is calculated based on the original monthly fee $118, after a rebate of $118 per month has been given to the customer within contract period.

  • Thereafter charge for local data HK$30/5GB or HK$60/5G Unlimited Data (data speed up to 1Mbps) will be charged on 'Advise and Consent' basis. 'Advise and Consent' basis: At any time when the local data usage on a plan nearly reaches the monthly allowance, an SMS notification will be sent to the customer. The customer may reply to the SMS to purchase a top-up that will be valid until the end of this bill month. If no top-up is purchased, data service will be suspended when the data usage has reached the allowance. Customer may purchase a top-up at any time to resume service, or wait until the beginning of the next bill month to commence service again with the new monthly data allowance. (if applicable)
  • Administration Fee Waiver Offer: Customer can enjoy Administration Fee Waiver offer starting from the first bill month within the contract period when he/she successfully port-in from other mobile operators; the period between service activation day and first bill day will be charged on a pro-rate basis based on the original charge. Administration Fee Waiver offer is calculated based on the original HK$18 per month, after a rebate of HK$18 per month has been given to the customer within the contract period. At the end of the rebate period, the customer will be charged at the prevailing Administration Fee if the customer continues to use the service.

  • Other services included: 500 Intra SMS, voicemail, call forwarding, caller number display, call waiting and conference call.

  • The Talk Freely Pack Service Plan includes unlimited local voice minutes and unlimited local data usage. The unlimited data usage under the Talk Freely Pack Service Plan is only applicable to the local data usage incurred by the designated apps on smartphone. Data usage incurred by apps download and software update are excluded. When the monthly local data allowance of the designated service plan has been fully consumed and the data service is suspended, the unlimited data usage under the Talk Freely Pack Service Plan will also be suspended until next bill month and will only be resumed once the Customer purchases data top-up options. For any Customer who subscribes the Specified Service Plan with a designated data speed, when monthly local data usage reaches the specified data usage under the Specified Service Plan, local data service of the Specified Service Plan and the Talk Freely Pack Service Plan continues but data speed will be at up to the designated data speed under the Specified Service Plan, data service experience may be affected.

    Talk Freely Pack Service Rebate: Subscription to Talk Freely Pack is required within the contract period. Customer can enjoy a monthly rebate for Talk Freely Pack under a designated Plan, the amount of rebate is based on the monthly service charge at the time of service subscription. The rebate on the first bill month and/or the last bill month will be credited on a pro-rate basis based on the number of days of usage during the bill cycle (If applicable). The rebate amount in a bill month will not be greater than the monthly service charge. At the end of the rebate period, the prevailing comparable service will be charged if the customer continues to use the service. (The free offer is only applicable to designated plan contract subscription)

  • The unlimited data usage under "Anytime Music" is only applicable to the local data usage incurred by listening to music within the designated music streaming apps on smartphone. Data usage incurred by apps download, software update, account registration and login, advertisement, upload, download and live video, non-music contents (including but not limited to the text, images, header files, app analytics, using in- app location based features, and any video/music streamed over VPN) within the designated apps are excluded. When the monthly local data allowance of the plan has been fully consumed and the data service is suspended, the "Anytime Music" service will also be suspended until next bill month and will only be resumed once the customer purchases data top-up options.

    Anytime Music Service Rebate: Subscription to Anytime Music is required within the contract period. Customer can enjoy a monthly rebate for Anytime Music under a designated Plan, the amount of rebate is based on the monthly service charge at the time of service subscription. The rebate on the first bill month and/or the last bill month will be credited on a pro-rate basis based on the number of days of usage during the bill cycle (If applicable). The rebate amount in a bill month will not be greater than the monthly service charge. At the end of the rebate period, the prevailing comparable service will be charged if the customer continues to use the service.
