  • Customers have a choice to choose the thereafter local data charge basis on ‘Advise and Consent’ or Standard charge basis when subscribe to above monthly plans.

  • ‘Advise and Consent‘ basis

    At any time when the local data usage on a plan nearly reaches the allowance, an SMS will be sent to the customer to advise of this. The customer may reply to the SMS to purchase a top-up which can be used for the remaining period of the bill month. If no top-up is purchased, data service will be suspended when the data usage has reached the allowance. Customer may purchase a top-up at any time to resume service, or wait until the beginning of the next bill month to commence service again with the new month's data allowance. To check the remaining free local data usage, please press *150#.

  • Standard thereafter local data charge: $0.0009/KB, thereafter local data charge capped at $500/month. When a customer under 4G plan has reached the monthly thereafter data ceiling charge at $500, the customer can still continue to use the service and the data access speed (upload and download) will not be restricted to less than 256kbps. However, the actual data transmission speeds may vary due to local conditions and other conditions which may arise.

  • When a customer under 4G plan has reached the monthly data usage of 10GB, the customer can still continue to use the service and the data access speed (upload and download) will not be restricted to less than 256kbps. However, the actual data transmission speeds may vary due to local conditions and other conditions which may arise.

  • Prepayment is required for subscribing to the above monthly plans. It will be credited to customers over the contract period.

    • To enjoy no cash prepayment and 0% interest instalments, customers are required to subscribe to the iPhone 4G Price Plan (7.5GB) and use designated credit cards of BNU, ICBC, BOC or HSBC to make payments. The amount will be deducted from the credit card limit. The above offer is required to use designated credit card for settlement and monthly service fees should be settled by credit card autopay. Instalment amount is $3,580 (16GB) / $3,980(64GB). The instalment amount will be credited to the customers' monthly bill over the contract term.

Terms and Conditions for these Offers
    iPhone 4G Price Plans:
  • Payment (smartphone price & prepayment) of $3,580 (16GB) / $3,980 (64GB) is required for customers not using the designated credit cards. Refund of prepayment are: 2.5GB plan: $3,412 (16GB) / $3,500 (64GB); 4.5GB & 7.5GB plan: $3,580 (16GB/64GB) / $3,980 (16GB/64GB) which will be credited to customers over the contract term.
  • These plans only cover mobile phone local data usage, including tethering.
  • Additional voice minutes charge is $0.2/min (basic/intra) for 2.5GB/4.5GB/7.5GB plan.
  • Call duration is rounded up to full charge units for computation purposes. Each full charge unit is based on a per minute airtime charge.
  • Free intra SMS is available when using a phone to send local SMS to SmarTone customers.
  • Local MMS per unit charge: 1-11KB: $1.5, 11.1-30KB: $2, above 30.1KB: $3.
  • Roaming charge & standard roaming data charge apply when roaming. Please ask our store assistants or visit our website for details.
  • All iPhone 4G Price Plans with handset subscription are only applicable to phone usage (except for 2G phones or any phones which has manually opted for 2G network), but not applicable to any connected device. Actual data transmission speeds may vary due to Internet traffic conditions, local conditions, hardware, software and other conditions which may arise.

  • The minimum roaming data charging unit is 1KB. Usage under 1KB will be rounded up to the nearest 1KB.
