  • Customers can enjoy Extra Local Data offer or Greater Bay Area Data (Mainland China & Macau) offer per month within the contract period upon a designated service plan contract subscription.

  • For subscription of Services Plans at a monthly fee of HK$298/HK$438, China and Macau data usage of the Greater Bay Area Data Service is calculated based on the usage of the designated monthly service plan with Greater Bay Area Data Service (0.5GB/0.5GB per month) and on the extra China and Macau data usage of the Greater Bay Area Data Service (2GB/3.5GB per month) during contract period. After the contract expire, the extra China and Macau data usage of the Greater Bay Area Data Service will be canceled.

  • For subscription of designated SuperCare Family Plan, all mobile numbers under the designated Family plan will entitle Free Greater Bay Area Data Service with extra China and Macau data usage (1.5GB/month) within contract period. Greater Bay Area Data Service and free extra China and Macau data usage will be cancelled after the contract expire.

  • 'Advise and Consent' basis: At any time when the local data usage on a plan nearly reaches the monthly allowance, an SMS notification will be sent to the customer. The customer may reply to the SMS to purchase a top-up. If no top-up is purchased, data service will be suspended when the data usage has reached the allowance. Customer may purchase a top-up at any time to resume service, or wait until the beginning of the next bill month to commence service again with the new monthly data allowance. Any unused top-up local mobile data can be carried forward for free and can be used before the end of the next bill month. This is only applicable to designated service plans (1GB or above) with an 'Advise & Consent' mechanism for the purchase of top-up data.

  • Under FUP (Fair Usage Policy), when monthly data usage reaches the plan's data allowance, data service continues without speed throttling or data capping, but access to network resources will be given lower priority and data service experience may be affected.

  • The special monthly fee HK$58 is calculated based on the original monthly fee HK$168 for Upgrade to Unlimited Local Data, after a contract bonus of HK$110 per month has been given to the customer within the contract period. At the end of the contract, the customer will be charged at the prevailing comparable plan if the customer continues to use the service.

  • KKBOX Offer: Only applicable to designated SuperCare Smartphone Plan or Primary SIM of a designated SuperCare Family Plan service plan.11-month contract is required for KKBOX; first 10 months service fee offer is calculated based on the original monthly fee HK$49 for KKBOX, after a rebate of HK$49 per month has been given to the customer. Total rebate period of KKBOX is 10 months, applicable to the first 10 bill month of the mobile service plan contract. The rebate will be credited to customer in next bill month upon the service subscription of KKBOX. At the end of this contract, the Company will continue to provide the service and the customer will be charged at the prevailing rate.

  • Apple Music Offer: Only applicable to designated SuperCare Smartphone Plan or Primary SIM of a designated SuperCare Family Plan service plan. 13-month contract is required for Apple Music; first 12 months service fee offer is calculated based on the original monthly fee HK$58 for Apple Music, after a rebate of HK$58 per month has been given to the customer. Total rebate period of Apple Music is 12 months, applicable to the first 12 bill month of the mobile service plan contract. The rebate will be credited to customer in next bill month upon the service subscription of Apple Music. At the end of this contract, the Company will continue to provide the service and the customer will be charged at the prevailing rate.

  • Free music data equivalent to "Anytime Music": Service is based on "Anytime Music" which is calculated based on the original monthly fee HK$88, after a contract rebate of HK$88 per month has been given to the customer within the contract period. At the end of the contract, the customer will be charged at the prevailing comparable plan if the customer continues to use the service. During the contract period, the Unlimited data usage under "Anytime Music" is only applicable to the local data usage incurred by listening to music within the designated music streaming apps (Apple Music, KKBOX, JOOX) on smartphone. Data usage incurred by apps download, software update, account registration and login, advertisement, upload, download and live video, non-music contents (including but not limited to the text, images, header files, app analytics, using in-app location based features, and any video/music streamed over VPN) within the designated apps are excluded. When the monthly local data allowance of the plan has been fully consumed and the data service is suspended, the "Anytime Music" service will also be suspended until next bill month and will only be resumed once the customer purchases data top-up options.

  • Movie Voucher: Vouchers are available on a first-come-first-served basis while stocks last. The use of vouchers is subject to the relevant merchant’s terms and conditions. Please refer to the back of the vouchers for details.

  • Accessories Discount Offer: Only applicable to the purchase of designated accessories at the prevailing Recommended Retail Price at the Company's stores. The discount offer is valid for single purchase within 365 days from the date of contract subscription of a designated service plan. The remaining/unused discount amount will be forfeited upon offer expired and cannot be exchanged for cash or refund. This discount offer cannot be used in conjunction with any other promotion offer. The available accessories will be updated and amended from time to time. Please ask our store assistants for details. Terms & conditions apply.

  • (If applicable) Port In Subscription Offer: The customer can enjoy Easy number service per month in first 12-month during contract period when he/she successfully port-in from other mobile operators. Each service plan contract is entitled to this offer once only. At the end of the free service period for Easy number service, unless the customer gives not less than 30 days prior notice to terminate the service, the Company will continue to provide the service and the customer will be charged at the prevailing rate.

    Free WiFi service is available to a Customer who has subscribed to a designated FUP Unlimited Data Plan.

  • Designated existing customers with a new subscription or designated existing customers upgrade to a designated service plan.

  • The Talk Freely Pack Service Plan includes unlimited local voice minutes and unlimited local data usage. The unlimited data usage under the Talk Freely Pack Service Plan is only applicable to the local data usage incurred by the designated apps on smartphone. Data usage incurred by apps download and software update are excluded. When the monthly local data allowance of the designated service plan has been fully consumed and the data service is suspended, the unlimited data usage under the Talk Freely Pack Service Plan will also be suspended until next bill month and will only be resumed once the Customer purchases data top-up options. For any Customer who subscribes the Specified Service Plan with a designated data speed, when monthly local data usage reaches the specified data usage under the Specified Service Plan, local data service of the Specified Service Plan and the Talk Freely Pack Service Plan continues but data speed will be at up to the designated data speed under the Specified Service Plan, data service experience may be affected.

    Free for Talk Freely Pack is calculated based on the original monthly fee HK$18, after a contract bonus of HK$18 per month has been given to the customer within the contract period. At the end of the contract, the customer will be charged at the prevailing comparable plan if the customer continues to use the service. (The free offer is only applicable to designated plan contract subscription)

SuperCare Smartphone Plan:
  • Customers are required to pay an admin fee of HK$18/month.
  • Additional voice minutes charge HK$0.9/min.
  • Call duration is rounded up to full charge units for computation purposes. Each full charge unit is based on a per minute airtime charge.
  • Free intra SMS is available when using a phone to send local SMS to SmarTone customers.
  • Roaming charge & standard roaming data charge apply when roaming. Please ask our store assistants or visit our website for details.
  • All SIM only SuperCare Smartphone Plans are not applicable to 2G phones/ connected devices or any phones/ connected devices which have manually opted for 2G network. If the customer uses this plan on any 2G phones/ connected devices or any phones/ connected devices which have manually opted for 2G network, any charges which may incur will be borne by the customer. Actual data transmission speeds may vary due to Internet traffic conditions, local conditions, hardware, software and other conditions which may arise.
  • Plans are not applicable to BlackBerry smartphones with BlackBerry 7 OS and earlier versions.

SuperCare Family Plan:
  • All local data and voice usage will be shared between all SIM Cards under the plan. The accumulated usage of all SIM Cards will be counted towards the usage of the plan.

Extra Double-up Local Data Offer:
  • Only available to customers who subscribe to the designated SuperCare Smartphone Plan.
  • Customers can enjoy extra double-up local data within the contract period. The extra local data is equivalent to the local data allowance of the service plan at the time of subscription. The extra local data under this offer will be forfeited if the Customer changes to other service plans.
  • The extra local data cannot be used in conjunction with DataRoam Plan.
  • Each service plan is entitled to the offer once only.
Extra Local Data Offer:
  • Only available to customers who subscribe to the designated service plan contract subscription.
  • The service plan included 0.5GB Greater Bay Area Data Service per month. (Applicable to designated SuperCare Plan)
  • The extra local data under this offer will be forfeited if the Customer changes to other service plans.
  • The extra local data cannot be used in conjunction with DataRoam Plan.
  • Each service plan is entitled to the offer once only.
Greater Bay Area Data Service (SuperCare Individual Plan):
  • (If applicable) Specific customer can enjoy extra China and Macau data usage of the Greater Bay Area Data Service during contract period. Extra China and Macau data usage of the Greater Bay Area Data Service can be shared in China and Macau. Any balance of unused extra China and Macau data usage cannot be carried forward and will be voided at the end of each month.
  • On subscription of the Greater Bay Area Data Service, monthly data allowance of Greater Bay Area Data Service data can be shared in China and Macau.
  • The Customer who subscribe Greater Bay Area Data Service should also activate Virtual WiFi Egg or "Upgraded" Roaming Data Day Plan at the same time. Please click here details of Virtual WiFi Egg. Please click here for details of "Upgraded" Roaming Data Day Plan.
  • To use the Greater Bay Area Data Service when travelling in China and Macau, the Customer should turn on data roaming via 'Settings' on his/her phone.
  • When the Customer is within the location of China and Macau and if the Customer's accumulated Greater Bay Area Data Service data usage exceeds monthly data allowance, the China Macau data service will be charged automatically by Virtual WiFi Egg or "Upgraded" Roaming Data Day Plan subscribed by the customer.
  • When the Customer apply Greater Bay Area Easy Pack or China Macau Data Pack Services Plan ("additional service plan") at the same time, Virtual WiFi Egg and "Upgraded" Roaming Data Day Plan are not applicable if the Customer is within the location of China and Macau; the arrangement of thereafter China Macau data usage and charges will same as the default data top-up option of additional service plan. When the Customer’s accumulated China Macau data usage exceeds the Greater Bay Area Data Service monthly data allowance, (If applicable) extra monthly allowance, additional service plan monthly allowance and (If applicable) purchased top-up usage, China Macau data service will be suspended temporarily. At that time the Customer will be notified by the top-up SMS of additional service plan, which also specified the top-up charges, he/ she may reply to the SMS to purchase a top-up of China Macau data service.
  • When the Customer is within the location of any of the overseas destinations other than China and Macau, the daily roaming data usage will be charged by Virtual WiFi Egg or "Upgraded" Roaming Data Day Plan subscribed by the customer.
  • Greater Bay Area Data Service cannot be used in conjunction with specified DataRoam services.
  • If Macau 1 Card 2 Numbers customer subscribe Greater Bay Area Data Service, data entitlement of Macau under Macau 1 Card 2 Numbers will be forfeited.

  • Customers can opt for FUP Unlimited Data with monthly fee subscription upon contract subscription of a designated SuperCare Family Plan.
  • FUP unlimited data usage will be shared between all SIM Cards under the Specified Service Plan. The contract end date will be the same as the designated SuperCare Family Plan.
  • FUP Unlimited Data cannot be used in conjunction with DataRoam Plan, 10GB Add-on Local Data Plan, Multi-SIM Monthly Plan and Tag-On SIM Plan.
  • Free WiFi service:
    I. Free WiFi service is available to customer who has subscribed to a designated FUP Unlimited Data Plan.
    II. Only applicable to customer with the Primary SIM card. The customer with the Primary SIM card of the Specified Service Plan is required to register for WiFi service.
    III. Free WiFi service will be terminated if the Customer changes to other service plan.

Easy Number Service:
  • Easy Number is only available for customers who have subscribed to the Company's monthly mobile service plan with a Hong Kong Identity Card. Applicants for this service must be the account holder of the company's monthly mobile service plan.
  • Each Hong Kong Identity Card holder can only subscribe to a maximum number of 3 Standard Plans of the Service, while each SmarTone mobile phone number registering with the same HKID holder can subscribe to one Standard Plan only. Each Standard Plan will be allocated one China mobile phone number. If a Customer registers more than 3 Standard Plans for this Service, SmarTone reserves the right to terminate the oversubscribed plan(s) and its China mobile number.
  • The Customer must agree with the arrangement of Registration of True Identity Information of users for China mobile numbers. For details, please refer to the relevant Terms and Conditions of this Service.

Talk Freely Pack Service:
  • Only available to customer who has subscribed to a designated Service Plan.
  • The available designated apps will be updated and amended from time to time. Please ask our store assistants or visit the Company website for details.
  • The designated apps are provided by a third supplier. The content and the settings of those apps may change from time to time without any notice. The Company makes no representation or guarantee as to the quality and availability of the services or information provided by the third suppliers.
  • The Talk Freely Pack Service Plan does not include the subscription fee and other items / service purchased by the designated apps.
  • (If applicable) Upon the subscription of the designated Family Service Plan / designated 5G service plan with the Talk Freely Pack Service Plan, all mobile numbers under the Plan can enjoy the Talk Freely Pack Service.
  • The local data speed under the Talk Freely Pack Service Plan follows the Specified Service Plan subscribed by the Customer.
  • For any Customer who subscribes the Specified Service Plan with a designated data speed, when monthly local data usage reaches the specified data usage under the Specified Service Plan, local data service of the Specified Service Plan and the Talk Freely Pack Service Plan continues but data speed will be at up to the designated data speed under the Specified Service Plan, data service experience may be affected.

SmarTone Plus membership & privilege:
  • Customers who subscribe or renew designated mobile service plan will enjoy SmarTone Plus membership and the membership offered depends on the service plan selected. Membership period of designated membership tier will be 13 months.
  • For members who have met the qualifying spending level during the eligible spending period, their membership will be renewed or upgraded.
  • Fixed-term contract is required for designated membership tier.
  • SmarTone Mobile Communications Limited may terminate or change the terms and conditions of SmarTone Plus at any time without prior notice.

RoamFlex Data Pass service plan:
  • The Customer shall use the RoamFlex Data Pass with Term total 24 months. The Term shall start from the service effective date.
  • On subscription of the RoamFlex Data Pass service plan, roaming data allowance and top-up of RoamFlex Data Pass data purchased under the RoamFlex Data Pass service plan within the contract period can be shared in designated destinations.
  • Unless otherwise specified by the Customer before the Term expired, the Term will be automatically extended at the prevailing service plan for successive periods of Term. The same terms and conditions of this service shall apply unless otherwise stated. The said automatic extension is subject to the final and absolute discretion of the Company at any times.

  • (Applicable to Family Plan/ Designated 5G Service Plan) If the Customer of the Primary SIM Card subscribes the RoamFlex Data Pass, all mobile numbers under the designated Family plan/ designated 5G Service Plan should also activate Virtual WiFi Egg or “Upgraded” Roaming Data Day Plan at the same time.
  • The remaining data entitlement of the RoamFlex Data Pass will be automatically forfeited after the Term expired. The new data allowance within contract period of RoamFlex Data Pass will be provided after the new Term / extended Term effective.
  • When the Customer is within the location of designated destinations and if the Customer’s accumulated RoamFlex Data Pass usage exceeds roaming data allowance within contract period and (if applicable) top-up of RoamFlex Data Pass data purchased, the Customer will be charged the original day plan price of Virtual WiFi Egg or “Upgraded” Roaming Data Day Plan subscribed by the customer and according to the destination(s) for the thereafter roaming data usage.
  • When the Customer is within the location of any of the overseas destinations other than designated destinations, the daily roaming data usage will be charged with the original day plan price of Virtual WiFi Egg or “Upgraded” Roaming Data Day Plan subscribed by the customer and according to the destination(s).
  • RoamFlex Data Pass cannot be subscribed in conjunction with China Macau Data Pack or Greater Bay Area Easy Pack.
  • (Applicable to Family Plan/ Designated 5G Service Plan) RoamFlex Data Pass is only available to Primary SIM Card. All mobile numbers under the designated Family plan/ designated 5G Service Plan can enjoy the roaming data allowance within contract period under RoamFlex Data Pass upon subscription of the Primary SIM Card.
  • (If applicable) If the Customer purchased more than one Roaming Data Pass for different group destinations, deduction on usage of roaming data shall follow the following deduction sequence:
    • 1) Roaming data allowance under service plan (DataRoam Service/ Greater Bay Area Data Service/ ExtraCare Bay Area Plan/ SuperCare Bay Area/ Asia/ Worldwide Plan);
    • 2) RoamFlex Data Pass roaming data allowance;
    • 3) Roaming Data Pass (by daily);
    • 4) Data Roaming Dollars.

  • The offer needs to be used within 12 months from the day of activating this offer for using Virtual WiFi Egg at designated destinations.
  • Designated Asia Pacific destinations include China / Macau, Australia, Bangladesh, Cambodia, Indonesia, Japan, Malaysia, New Zealand, Philippines, Singapore, South Korea, Taiwan, Thailand, Vietnam. Designated destinations and roaming partners may change from time to time.
  • There is no limit on consecutive day. The original day plan price will be charged if number of Roaming Data Pass’s days exceeded or usage at non-designated destinations.
  • (Where applicable) This offer is only available to main SIM mobile number under designated Family plan/designated 5G service plan. After successful purchase, all mobile numbers under the plan should also activate / switch on Virtual WiFi Egg and Roaming service to enjoy 10-day Roaming Data Pass upon subscription from main SIM. If 2 mobile numbers under designated Family plan use the Roaming Data Pass at the same time, 2 days would be consumed from the Roaming Data Pass.
  • Offer cannot be used in conjunction with designated DataRoam services, Greater Bay Area Easy Pack & China Macau Data Pack.
