  • For subscription of DataRoam Plan at a monthly fee of HK$436, customer is required to subscribe to a SIM Only SuperCare Smartphone Plan (6GB) and a DataRoam x6 Service at a monthly fee of HK$138 at the same time. 

  • For subscription of DataRoam Plan at a monthly fee of HK$416, customer is required to subscribe to a SIM Only SuperCare Smartphone Plan (6GB) and a DataRoam x3 Service at a monthly fee of HK$118 at the same time. 

  • For subscription of DataRoam Plan at a monthly fee of HK$316, customer is required to subscribe to a SIM Only SuperCare Smartphone Plan (6GB) and a DataRoam x2 Service at a monthly fee of HK$18 at the same time.

  • "Mobile Plan Monthly Fee Reimbursement Promise" includes "Unemployment Protection".

  • "Mobile Plan Monthly Fee Reimbursement": Customer can make a claim to Avo Insurance Company Limited whenever fulfilled the terms and conditions of “Unemployment Protection” during the Protection Period. Once the claim has been approved, Customer will be paid a lump sum benefit of 6 months’ Monthly Service Charge. The monthly limit is $300 per month per Insured Mobile Phone Number. The Maximum Benefit Amount is $1,800 per Insured Mobile Phone Number. Monthly Service Charge refers to net monthly fee after rebate plus an administration fee (if applicable) as specified in a “SmarTone Sales and Services Agreement” or “SmarTone Supplemental Agreement to Sales and Services Agreement”, all other spending in SmarTone would not be covered.

DataRoam Service:
  • HK$118 / HK$138 DataRoam Service is only available to customer who has subscribed to a designated SuperCare Smartphone Plan (6GB) and U Plan3.
  • HK$18 DataRoam Service is only available to customer who has subscribed to a designated SuperCare Smartphone Plan (1GB data or above).
  • HK$36 / HK$236 / HK$276 DataRoam Service is only available to customer who has subscribed to a designated SuperCare Family Plan.
  • Customer opting for DataRoam Service, the contract end date will be the same as the subscribed designated Plan.
  • The monthly data allowance and top-up data purchased under the designated Plan can be shared in Hong Kong, Macau and other designated overseas destinations. While the monthly local voice minutes allowance and additional local voice minutes purchased under the designated Plan can be shared in Hong Kong and Macau for receiving calls from anywhere and local outgoing calls in the same designation.
  • For HK$118 / HK$236 DataRoam Service, the additional destination selected by the Customer cannot be changed during the contract period.
  • The customer who subscribes DataRoam Service should also activate Virtual WiFi Egg or “Upgraded” Roaming Data Day Plan at the same time. To use DataRoam Service when travelling, the customer should turn on data roaming via 'Settings' on his/her phone.
  • When the customer is within the location of any of the overseas destinations which cover the selected DataRoam Service and if the customer’s accumulated data usage exceeds monthly data allowance and top-up data purchased (if applicable) under the designated Plan, the daily thereafter roaming data usage will be charged by Virtual WiFi Egg or “Upgraded” Roaming Data Day Plan subscribed by the customer.
  • (If applicable) For any Customer who subscribes FUP Unlimited Data Plan and DataRoam Service, FUP Unlimited Data usage applies to local (Hong Kong) use only. When the Customer is within the location of any of the overseas destinations which cover the selected DataRoam Service and if the Customer’s accumulated data usage exceeds monthly data allowance under the designated Plan, the daily thereafter roaming data usage will be charged by Virtual WiFi Egg or “Upgraded” Roaming Data Day Plan subscribed by the customer.
  • Customer can enjoy “Upgraded” Roaming Data Day Plan at 50% off on fixed daily rate (based on original price) upon the subscription of HK$118 / HK$138/ HK$236/ HK$276 DataRoam Service. The offer cannot be used in conjunction with other offers. The fixed daily rate will be adjusted from HK$138 (China/Macau) or HK$198 (other destinations) to HK$69 or HK$99 respectively for roaming data each day, HK$60 credit for local outgoing calls within same city and free global travel insurance. A daily rate of only HK$34 (original at HK$68) is applied when you start to use roaming data after 18:00 (local time) in the visited destination (excluding the HK$60 credit for local outgoing calls within same city).   • All mobile numbers under the SuperCare Family plan can enjoy “Upgraded” Roaming Data Day Plan at 50% off on fixed daily rate (based on original price) upon the subscription ofHK$236/ HK$276 DataRoam Service.

  • (If applicable) Any free bonus local data offered to an existing contract of a service number under the service plan will be forfeited upon DataRoam Service subscription. The forfeited data will not be refunded or replenished to the Customer. 
  • (If applicable) Any free day entitlement of Virtual WiFi Egg offered to an existing contract of a service number under the service plan will firstly be deducted with the use of Virtual WiFi Egg.
  • (If applicable) Any free day entitlement of “Upgraded” Roaming Data Day Plan offered to an existing contract of a service number under the service plan will firstly be deducted with the use of “Upgraded” Roaming Data Day Plan.
  • (If applicable) Any free day entitlement of Virtual WiFi Egg offered to an existing contract of a service number under the service plan will be forfeited when the Customer switches to “Upgraded” Roaming Data Day Plan upon DataRoam Service subscription. The forfeited free day entitlement will not be refunded or replenished to the Customer.
  • (If applicable) Any free day entitlement of “Upgraded” Roaming Data Day Plan offered to an existing contract of a service number under the service plan will be forfeited when the Customer switches to Virtual WiFi Egg upon DataRoam Service  subscription. The forfeited free day entitlement will not be refunded or replenished to the Customer.
  • The Company has the right of final decision relating to the promotions and any dispute thereof, and may change the terms and conditions without prior notice. Subject to relevant terms and conditions. Please refer to T&C-T286  for details.
Services Combo Offer:
  • Designated SmarTone Broadband Service customer can enjoy rebate of $18 per month under the Broadband service upon a contract subscription of a designated mobile service plan. The rebate period is equivalent to the contract period of the mobile service plan.
  • Upon the eligible SmarTone Broadband Service customer and the eligible mobile service plan contract subscription validated by the Company, the rebate will be credited upon service activation and after the cooling-off period of the designated SmarTone Fibre Broadband Service / Home 5G Broadband Service.
  • Designated SmarTone Broadband Service customer shall be the subscriber of the designated mobile service plan contract subscription to enjoy the Offer.
  • Total rebate/ remaining rebate will be forfeited if the customer terminates the mobile service plan or the Broadband Service. The remaining credit amount cannot be exchanged for cash or refund.
Free 30 minutes of 001 IDD:
  • Free 30 minutes of 001 IDD is only available during the DataRoam Service period, and the IDD minutes only apply to voice calls made by 001 IDD in Hong Kong to the normal fixed and mobile numbers in China. But excludes voice calls made to the infoline numbers and satellite numbers.
  • Customer must apply 001 IDD to enjoy the 30 free minutes of IDD.
  • Unused free minute(s) cannot be carried forwarded and will be cancelled on bill date.
  • Free 001 IDD minutes will be given on pro-rata basis from service activation date to 1st bill date, and free 30 minutes IDD will be given in the following bills.
  • Under the SuperCare Family Plan, other than the Primary Sim Card user, Secondary SIM Cards are not eligible to enjoy the free offer.

Free Connecting Tone Service:
  • Free Connecting Tone Service is only available during the DataRoam Service period.
  • Service includes 1 connecting tone change per month. For additional change, HK$5 per tone change will apply.
  • Browsing Connecting Tone content or sampling music tracks will incur data. It will be deducted from relevant subscribed service plans and charged at the applicable thereafter fee. Alternatively, it will be charged based on standard data charges.
  • Customer with Connecting Tone and Connecting Tone Channel subscription are not eligible to enjoy the free offer.
  • Under the SuperCare Family Plan, other than the Primary Sim Card user, Secondary SIM Cards are not eligible to enjoy the free offer.

“Unemployment Protection”:
  • Customers who subscribe to a designated service plan with 12-month or above contract and activate the service plan before 31 Dec 2021 will enjoy Unemployment Protection ("Unemployment Protection") for free once during the promotion period.
  • Unemployment Protection is only available for customers who have subscribed to the monthly mobile service plan with a Hong Kong Identity Card or Passport ("Insured Person"), and are the active full-time employee to the existing employer with period of service of not less than six (6) consecutive months at the time of an event. Not applicable to customers registered with Hong Kong Business Registration.
  • Insured Person of Unemployment Protection must be the account holder of the monthly mobile service plan and it is applicable to Hong Kong residents aged 18 – 80 (based on the service activation date of this monthly mobile service plan).
  • Each mobile phone number registered by the same Hong Kong Identity Card or Passport holder can enjoy Unemployment Protection for free once only. Unemployment Protection only covers Primary SIM Cards, and maximum 3 mobile phone numbers per Insured Person can enjoy Unemployment Protection.
  • Unemployment Protection will commence from the service activation date of monthly mobile service plan, with a Protection Period of 12-month. 14-day waiting period applies. After mobile service activation, Customer will receive a "Mobile Plan Monthly Fee Reimbursement Promise" confirmation email, with the commencement date and Protection Period of Unemployment Protection stated.
  • Mobile Service Sales & Service Agreement or Supplement Agreement to Sales and Service Agreement, proof of identity, valid proof of unemployment and "Mobile Plan Monthly Fee Reimbursement Promise" confirmation email are needed for making a claim to Avo Insurance Company Limited. The documents required for making claims will be updated from time to time. For details, please contact Avo Insurance Company Limited.
  • If the Customers terminate contract or disconnect service for any reason, change of ownership, successfully made claim or pass away, the Unemployment Protection will be terminated immediately.
  • Unemployment Protection is underwritten by Avo Insurance Company Limited (Leading Co-Insurer) and Sun Hung Kai Properties Insurance Limited and subject to the terms and conditions of Avo Insurance Company Limited and Sun Hung Kai Properties Insurance Limited, please click here for the coverage details.
  • Avo Insurance Company Limited and Sun Hung Kai Properties Insurance Limited have the sole discretion in determining the Customer's eligibility to the Unemployment Protection and is solely responsible for all approvals, coverage and compensations of its insurance plans.
  • Unemployment Protection service is provided by Avo Insurance Company Limited and Sun Hung Kai Properties Insurance Limited. The service may change without any prior notice. The use of service is subject to Avo Insurance Company Limited and Sun Hung Kai Properties Insurance Limited's terms and conditions. The Company makes no representation or guarantee as to the quality and availability of the products, services (including but not limited to any fees, expenses, losses and damages incurred from or caused by "Unemployment Protection").
SmarTone Plus membership & privilege:
  • Customers who subscribe or renew designated mobile service plan will enjoy SmarTone Plus membership and the membership offered depends on the service plan selected. Membership period of designated membership tier will be 13 months.
  • For members who have met the qualifying spending level during the eligible spending period, their membership will be renewed or upgraded.
  • Fixed-term contract is required for designated membership tier.
  • SmarTone Mobile Communications Limited may terminate or change the terms and conditions of SmarTone Plus at any time without prior notice.

RoamFlex Data Pass service plan:
  • The Customer shall use the RoamFlex Data Pass with Term total 24 months. The Term shall start from the service effective date.
  • On subscription of the RoamFlex Data Pass service plan, roaming data allowance and top-up of RoamFlex Data Pass data purchased under the RoamFlex Data Pass service plan within the contract period can be shared in designated destinations.
  • Unless otherwise specified by the Customer before the Term expired, the Term will be automatically extended at the prevailing service plan for successive periods of Term. The same terms and conditions of this service shall apply unless otherwise stated. The said automatic extension is subject to the final and absolute discretion of the Company at any times.
  • The Customer who subscribe RoamFlex Data Pass should also activate Virtual WiFi Egg or “Upgraded” Roaming Data Day Plan at the same time. Please click here for details of Virtual WiFi Egg. Please click here for details of "Upgraded" Roaming Data Day Plan.
  • (Applicable to Family Plan/ Designated 5G Service Plan) If the Customer of the Primary SIM Card subscribes the RoamFlex Data Pass, all mobile numbers under the designated Family plan/ designated 5G Service Plan should also activate Virtual WiFi Egg or “Upgraded” Roaming Data Day Plan at the same time.
  • The remaining data entitlement of the RoamFlex Data Pass will be automatically forfeited after the Term expired. The new data allowance within contract period of RoamFlex Data Pass will be provided after the new Term / extended Term effective.
  • When the Customer is within the location of designated destinations and if the Customer’s accumulated RoamFlex Data Pass usage exceeds roaming data allowance within contract period and (if applicable) top-up of RoamFlex Data Pass data purchased, the Customer will be charged the original day plan price of Virtual WiFi Egg or “Upgraded” Roaming Data Day Plan subscribed by the customer and according to the destination(s) for the thereafter roaming data usage.
  • When the Customer is within the location of any of the overseas destinations other than designated destinations, the daily roaming data usage will be charged with the original day plan price of Virtual WiFi Egg or “Upgraded” Roaming Data Day Plan subscribed by the customer and according to the destination(s).
  • RoamFlex Data Pass cannot be subscribed in conjunction with China Macau Data Pack or Greater Bay Area Easy Pack.
  • (Applicable to Family Plan/ Designated 5G Service Plan) RoamFlex Data Pass is only available to Primary SIM Card. All mobile numbers under the designated Family plan/ designated 5G Service Plan can enjoy the roaming data allowance within contract period under RoamFlex Data Pass upon subscription of the Primary SIM Card.
  • (If applicable) If the Customer purchased more than one Roaming Data Pass for different group destinations, deduction on usage of roaming data shall follow the following deduction sequence:
    • 1) Roaming data allowance under service plan (DataRoam Service/ Greater Bay Area Data Service/ ExtraCare Bay Area Plan/ SuperCare Bay Area/ Asia/ Worldwide Plan);
    • 2) RoamFlex Data Pass roaming data allowance;
    • 3) Roaming Data Pass (by daily);
    • 4) Data Roaming Dollars.

The Point membership:
  • The promotion period is from now till 31 December 2021 ("Promotion Period").
  • SmarTone users register as The Point by SHKP ("The Point") member and "Auto-earn The Point Bonus Points" function free of charge. You agree and authorize S Rewards Ltd – a member of SmarTone Group to the transfer and provision of your personal data, including your title, first name and last name, mobile phone number(s), birthday month, age, e-mail address(es) and future designated handsets and accessories spending details at SmarTone stores (applicable to stores in The Point participating malls only) to The Point by SHKP ("The Point") to facilitate and complete the registration procedure of membership and "Auto-earn The Point Bonus Points" function and point registration as well.
  • New The Point member registered within the Promotion Period ("New Member") will be entitled to 500 The Point bonus points ("Welcome Offer"). Each New Member is entitled to the Welcome Offer once only and the Welcome Offer will be automatically credited to The Point account of New Member on the same day. The Point will determine the New Member's entitlement to the Welcome Offer based on the New Member's record with The Point.
  • No Welcome Offer will be given to New Member who has cancelled their The Point membership within the past 6 months from the month of new application.

Users can earn 2 The Point bonus points for every HK$1 spent(applicable to any spending receipt amount equivalent to or higher than HK$1, while any amount under HK$1 will not be counted .)Eligible receipts include the receipts of purchase of designated handsets and accessories (including the receipts paid by cash. For installment payment, the full amount listed on the merchant's machine-printed receipt will be counted towards redemption.   • User's SmarTone mobile service plan mobile number and the registered mobile phone number of The Point must be the same to activate the Auto-earn The Point Bonus Points function.
  • The Point bonus points, rewards and services are provided by The Point. SmarTone Mobile Communications Limited and S Rewards Limited are not directly or indirectly responsible for any related bonus points, rewards and services.
  • The Point bonus points will be credited to The Point account of the User automatically within 3 working days after receipt approval.
  • Each machine-printed receipt and corresponding electronic payment slip can only be used for The Point bonus point registration once only. Any duplicate bonus point registration in The Point account will not be accepted.
  • If User requests for a refund (full or partial) of transaction in SmarTone stores (applicable to stores in The Point participating malls only), The relating Point bonus points will not be credited to The Point account of the User; or The Point bonus points that are credited will be automatically deducted from the point balance of The Point account of the User.
  • In case of fraud or abuse case, Sun Hung Kai Real Estate Agency Limited, SmarTone Mobile Communications Limited and S Rewards Limited reserve the right to forfeit or deduct the bonus points that are credited without any prior notice.
  • The registration and use of The Point membership and bonus points are subject to the terms and conditions of "The Point".
