  • Under FUP (Fair Usage Policy), when monthly data usage reaches the plan's data allowance, data service continues without speed throttling or data capping, but access to network resources will be given lower priority and data service experience may be affected.

  • This service plan includes the extra 12GB local data offer per month within the contract period upon a contract subscription of a designated SuperCare Smartphone Plan (6GB). This service plan includes the extra 12GB local data offer per month within the contract period. The special monthly fee HK$238 is calculated based on the original monthly fee HK$298 for SuperCare Smartphone Plan (6GB), after a rebate of HK$60 per month has been given to the customer. At the end of the rebate period, the customer will be charged at the prevailing comparable plan with corresponding local data and local voice minutes allowance, if the customer continues to use the service.

  • This offer is required to subscribe designated $298 monthly fee SuperCare Smartphone Plan (6GB) and $138 monthly fee DataRoam x6 Service at the same time that include service fee rebate of DataRoam x6 Service in total 12 installments. DataRoam x6 Service rebate in total $1,656 (rebate $138 x 2 installments in 1st bill month and $138 x 10 installments in 2nd-11th bill months). The special monthly fee $298 is calculated based on the original service plan monthly fee in total $436, after a rebate of $138 DataRoam x6 Service has been given to the customer. At the end of the service rebate period, the customer can enjoy 50% off (rebate $69 per month in 12th to 23rd bill month) to continue using DataRoam x6 Service in the remaining bill months within the contract period of designated SuperCare Smartphone Plan (6GB). Customer shall consecutively use DataRoam x6 Service in the remaining bill months within the contract period to enjoy 50%-off offer. Customer shall give no less than 30 days prior notice to terminate the DataRoam x6 Service within the contract period. 50%-off offer will not be entitled if customer terminate the DataRoam x6 Service within the contract period.

  • At any time when the local data usage on a plan nearly reaches the monthly allowance, an SMS notification will be sent to the customer. The customer may reply to the SMS to purchase a top-up. If no top-up is purchased, data service will be suspended when the data usage has reached the allowance. Customer may purchase a top-up at any time to resume service, or wait until the beginning of the next bill month to commence service again with the new monthly data allowance.

    Any unused top-up local mobile data can be carried forward for free and can be used before the end of the next bill month. This is only applicable to designated service plans (1GB or above) with an “Advise & Consent” mechanism for the purchase of top-up data.

    SmarTone Screen Replace™ is restricted to covering the repair or replacement cost of accidental physical damage of the smartphone screen and/or its attached LCD panel.

SuperCare Smartphone Plans:
  • Customers are required to pay an admin fee of HK$18/month.
  • Additional voice minutes charge HK$0.9/min.
  • Call duration is rounded up to full charge units for computation purposes. Each full charge unit is based on a per minute airtime charge.
  • Free intra SMS is available when using a phone to send local SMS to SmarTone customers.
  • Roaming charge & standard roaming data charge apply when roaming. Please ask our store assistants or visit our website for details.
  • SIM Only SuperCare Smartphone Plans are not applicable to 2G phones/ connected devices or any phones/ connected devices which have manually opted for 2G network. If the customer uses this plan on any 2G phones/ connected devices or any phones/ connected devices which have manually opted for 2G network, any charges which may incur will be borne by the customer. Actual data transmission speeds may vary due to Internet traffic conditions, local conditions, hardware, software and other conditions which may arise.
  • Plans are not applicable to BlackBerry smartphones with BlackBerry 7 OS and earlier versions.

Flexi-switch For Designated Service Plans:
  • Only applicable to new customers or existing customers with a new line subscription to a designated Service Plan.
  • Flexi-switch allows customers to change to another designated Service Plan (“Switch”) once within the first 3 months from the date of activation of the service subscription under the contract made prior to the Switch (“Pre-Switch Contract”).
  • When the customer changes to a designated Service Plan under Flexi-switch (“Switch Contract”), the customer shall use the designated Service Plan for the remaining period of the Switch Contract (“Switch Contract Term”).
  • The applicable GoodCare Smartphone Plan for Flexi-switch includes GoodCare Smartphone Plan at a monthly fee of HK$88 only. Other GoodCare Smartphone Plans are not applicable for Flexi-switch.
  • (if applicable) FUP Unlimited Data Plan:
    If the Pre-Switch Contract carries a FUP Unlimited Data Plan but the Customer is not entitled to a FUP Unlimited Data Plan under the Switch Contract, the FUP Unlimited Data Plan under the Pre-Switch Contract will be automatically cancelled and the Customer will not be entitled to the FUP Unlimited Data Plan during the Switch Contract Term.
  • (if applicable) The selected services, rebates, extra local data and airtime offers and the special offers entitlements (including, but not limited to, quotas of Customer Smartphone and Tablet offer, SuperCare Unbundled Smartphone Plan’s designated smartphones and tablets at Unbundled Prices, accessories coupons and premium) of the Pre-Switch Contract will be superseded by the Switch Contract which the customer has changed to under Flexi-switch.

SmarTone Screen Replace™ offer:
  • Each service plan can enjoy this offer once.
  • Your smartphone is required to meet the designated criteria in order to enjoy SmarTone Screen Replace™ . Please click here for details.
  • A customer may choose the 24-month option of SmarTone Screen Replace™, by paying a fee of HK$300. Or paying a fee of HK$400 to get reimbursement for the cost of screen/LCD panel repair or replacement, twice in the 24-month period.
  • The reimbursement is subject to submission by the customer of the official invoice from the smartphone manufacturer or its authorised repair centres as stipulated by SmarTone.
  • The reimbursement is restricted to covering the repair or replacement cost of accidental physical damage of the handset screen and/or its attached LCD panel, and expressly excludes any other repair and refurbishment of any other component or the handset itself. If the smartphone manufacturer or its authorised repair centres, as stipulated by SmarTone, offer a handset replacement as the only option for repair, SmarTone may exercise discretion and will reimburse 60% on the cost of handset replacement. The reimbursement percentage can vary from time to time and SmarTone's decision on the validity for reimbursement is absolute and final.

FUP Unlimited Data :
  • Only available to customers who have subscribed to a designated SIM Only SuperCare Smartphone Plan (6GB).
  • Customers opting for FUP Unlimited Data, the contract end date will be the same as the SIM Only SuperCare Smartphone Plan.
  • FUP Unlimited Data cannot be used in conjuction with Multi-SIM, Tag-On SIM Plans and 10GB Add-on Local Data Plan.
  • Free WiFi service:
    i) Free WiFi service is available to a Customer who has subscribed to a designated FUP Unlimited Data Plan.
    ii) Free WiFi service will be terminated if the Customer changes to other service plan.
    iii) Customers are required to register for WiFi service through our 24-hour service hotline 2880 2688.
    iv) WiFi service applies to designated WiFi hotspots provided by Y5 ZONE Limited  in Hong Kong only.
  • FUP Unlimited Data is not applicable to 2G phones / connected devices or any phones / connected devices which have manually opted for 2G network, and not applicable to other connected devices (including but not limited to USB modem / pocket wi-fi / TV box / BlackBerry smartphones with BlackBerry 7 OS and earlier versions ).

10GB Add-on Local Data :
  • Only available to customers who have subscribed to a designated SIM Only SuperCare Smartphone Plan (6GB).

  • 10GB Add-on Local Data Plan cannot be used in conjuction with Multi-SIM, Tag-On SIM Plans and FUP Unlimited Data.
  • 10GB Add-on Local Data Plan is not applicable to 2G phones / connected devices or any phones / connected devices which have manually opted for 2G network.

30GB Data Upgrade Choice:
  • Only available to customers who have subscribed to a designated SuperCare Smartphone Plan (6GB or above) and FUP Unlimited Data Plan.
  • Customers opting for 30GB Data Upgrade Choice Plan, including the local data entitlement of the SuperCare Smartphone Plan, the total local data entitlement would not be less than 30GB per month.
  • The contract end date of 30GB Data Upgrade Choice Plan will be the same as the FUP Unlimited Data Plan. At the end of contract, unless customer gives not less than 30 days prior notice to terminate the service, we will continue to provide the service and customer will be charged at the prevailing monthly fee of 30GB Data Upgrade Choice Plan.
  • If customer terminates 30GB Data Upgrade Choice Plan or FUP Unlimited Data Plan within the contract of 30GB Data Upgrade Choice Plan, customer shall pay us liquidated damages of the corresponding service(s).
  • 30GB Unlimited Data Plan cannot be used in conjunction with Multi-SIM, Tag-On SIM Plans and other Add-on Local Data Plan.

SmarTone Plus Membership:
  • Customers who subscribe or renew the designated mobile service plan will enjoy SmarTone Plus membership.
  • Designated mobile service plans include: 20GB SuperCare Family Plans; 20GB SuperCare Family Plans with add-on for DataRoam plan (2 destinations) or (3 destinations) or (6 destinations); 10GB SuperCare Family Plans; 10GB SuperCare Family Plans with add-on for DataRoam plan (2 destinations) or (3 destinations) or (6 destinations); 6GB SuperCare Family Plans; 6GB SuperCare Family Plans with add-on for DataRoam plan (2 destinations) or (3 destinations) or (6 destinations); 6GB SuperCare Plans with add-on for DataRoam plan (3 destinations) or (6 destinations) or FUP unlimited data or 10GB add-on local data (including SuperCare Plans for Smartphones). Fixed-term contract are required for the above plans, customers opting for DataRoam Plan (2 destinations), (3 destinations) or (6 destinations), FUP unlimited data or 10GB add-on local data, the contract end date will be the same as the SuperCare Plans or SuperCare Family Plans; SuperCare Plan 1GB or 2GB or 6GB; SuperCare plan 1GB or 2.5GB or 6GB with add-on for DataRoam plan (2 destinations).
  • SmarTone Mobile Communication Limited may terminate SmarTone Plus or change the terms and conditions of SmarTone Plus at any time without prior notice.
Data@Your Will:
  • Only applicable to new customers / existing customers with a new subscription or designated existing customers. A designated service plan with fixed-term contract subscription and an admin fee of $18 per month are required.
  • Customers can enjoy free FUP Unlimited Data within the contract period upon contract subscriptionof a designated SIM-Only SuperCare Smartphone Plan (6GB) / SuperCare Smartphone Plan with handset subscription (6GB). At the end of the free service period for FUP Unlimited Data, unless the customer gives not less than 30 days prior notice to terminate the service, the Company will continue to provide the service and the customer will be charged at the prevailing FUP Unlimited Data.
  • Customers can enjoy extra double-up local data within the contract period upon contract subscription of a designated SIM-Only SuperCare Family Plan; the extra local data is equivalent to the local data allowance of the service plan at the time of subscription.
  • Each service plan is entitled to this offer once only.
  • Flexi–switch is not eligible for this offer.
China Macau Data Pack Services Plan:
  • On subscription of the China Macau Data Pack, monthly data allowance and top-up of China Macau Data Pack data purchased can be shared in China and Macau.
  • Customer opting for China Macau Data Pack, the contract end date will be the same as the subscribed designated Plan.
  • The Customer who subscribe China Macau Data Pack should also activate Virtual WiFi Egg or “Upgraded” Roaming Data Day Plan at the same time. Please click here for details of Virtual WiFi Egg. Please click here for details of "Upgraded" Roaming Data Day Plan.
  • To use the China Macau Data Pack when travelling in China and Macau, the Customer should turn on data roaming via 'Settings' on his/her phone.
  • When the Customer is within the location of China and Macau and if the Customer’s accumulated China Macau Data Pack data usage exceeds monthly data allowance and top-up of China Macau Data Pack data purchased (if applicable), the roaming data usage will be suspended automatically.
  • When the Customer is within the location of China and Macau, Virtual WiFi Egg and “Upgraded” Roaming Data Day Plan are not applicable.
  • When the Customer is within the location of any of the overseas destinations other than China and Macau, the daily roaming data usage will be charged by Virtual WiFi Egg or “Upgraded” Roaming Data Day Plan subscribed by the customer.
  • China Macau Data Pack cannot be used in conjunction with DataRoam services.
  • If SuperCare Family Plan customers subscribe China Macau Data Pack, the monthly data allowance of China Macau Data Pack and top-up of China Macau Data Pack data purchased is only allowed to the User of Registered Number but no other mobile numbers under the same plan.

Apple Watch Series 3 Subscription Offers:
  • Only applicable to new customers / existing customers with a new subscription or designated existing customers. A designated SIM only service plan with 24-month contract and an admin fee of HK$18 per month are required.
  • SIM only SuperCare Smartphone Plan (10GB) includes contract subscription of a designated SIM only Smartphone Plan (6GB) and HK$40 per month for 4GB Add-On local data within the contract period.
  • SIM only SuperCare Family Plan (10GB/14GB/24GB) includes contract subscription of a designated SIM only Family Plan (6GB/10GB/20GB) and HK$40 per month for 4GB Add-On local data within the contract period.
  • Each contract subscription is entitled to Free FUP Unlimited Data and/ or designated accessories credit offer once only.
  • Flexi–switch is not eligible for this offer.
  • If the customers change to other service plans after using the credit(s), the Company has the right to charge the full amount of the used credit(s) without prior notice.
4GB Add-On Local Data:
  • Only applicable to designated SIM only SuperCare Smartphone Plan/ designated SIM only SuperCare Family Plan.
  • Customer is required to opt for 4GB Add-On local data at the same time upon contract subscription of a designated SIM only SuperCare Smartphone Plan/ designated SIM only SuperCare Family Plan, the contract end date will be the same as the designated SIM only service plan.
  • The Add-on local data cannot be used in conjunction with DataRoam Plan.

  • Customer can enjoy HK$800 accessories credit offer upon contract subscription of a designated SIM Only SuperCare Smartphone Plan(6GB); customer can use the credit offer to purchase designated Apple Watch Series 3 (GPS + Cellular) Aluminum Case with Sport Band/Sport Loop (38mm) at HK$2,388.
  • Customer can enjoy HK$2,690 accessories credit offer upon contract subscription of a designated SIM Only SuperCare Smartphone Plan(10GB)/ designated SIM only SuperCare Family Plan(10GB); customer can use the credit offer to purchase designated Apple Watch Series 3 (GPS + Cellular) Aluminum Case with Sport Band/Sport Loop (38mm) at HK$498.
  • Customer can enjoy HK$3,188 accessories credit offer upon contract subscription of a designated SIM only SuperCare Family Plan(14GB); customer can enjoy one designated Apple Watch Series 3 (GPS + Cellular) Aluminum Case with Sport Band/Sport Loop (38mm) by the credit offer for free.
  • Customer can enjoy HK$6,376 accessories credit offer upon contract subscription of a designated SIM only SuperCare Family Plan(24GB); customer can enjoy two designated Apple Watch Series 3 (GPS + Cellular) Aluminum Case with Sport Band/Sport Loop (38mm)by the credit offer for free.
  • Customer can enjoy extra HK$200 accessories credit offer upon contract subscription of a designated SIM Only SuperCare Smartphone Plan/ designated SIM only SuperCare Family Plan.
  • A device price (if applicable) and the prepayment of designated amount are required. The device price (if applicable) and the prepayment amount vary according to the designated service plan selected by the customer and accessories credit offer entitlement. The prepayment will be credited to the customer according to the credit arrangement specified in the Sales and Services Agreement (or Supplemental Agreement to the Sales and Services Agreement).
  • The Customer shall not be entitled to the Credit Amount or any balance thereof if change to new service plan. The Credit Amount cannot be exchanged for cash.
  • The accessories credit offer is only applicable to the purchase of designated accessories and accessories protection services at the Company’s stores. The credit provides accessories and accessories protection services at a discount on the prevailing Recommended Retail Price.
  • The credit is valid for 90 days from the date of contract subscription. Customer can use the credit offer over the validity period, any unused credit will be forfeited upon expiry.
  • The remaining credit amount cannot be exchanged for cash or refund.

Extra Data Offer:

  • The extra local data under this offer will be forfeited if the Customer changes to other service plans.
  • Each service plan contract is entitled to this offer once only.
  • The extra local data cannot be used in conjunction with DataRoam Plan.
  • Data@Your Will offer cannot co-exist with Extra Data offer.
  • This offer cannot be exchanged for cash and cannot be used in conjunction with other offers.

DataRoam Service:
  • The monthly data allowance and (if applicable) top-up data purchased under the designated Plan can be shared in Hong Kong, Macau, Mainland China, Taiwan, Japan and Singapore. While the monthly local voice minutes allowance and additional local voice minutes purchased under the designated Plan can be shared in Hong Kong and Macau for receiving calls from anywhere and local outgoing calls in the same designation.
  • The customer who subscribes DataRoam x6 Service should also activate “Upgraded” Roaming Data Day Plan at the same time. To use DataRoam Service when travelling, the customer should turn on data roaming via 'Settings' on his/her phone.
  • When the customer is within the location of any of the overseas destinations which cover the selected DataRoam Service and if the customer’s accumulated data usage exceeds monthly data allowance and top-up data purchased (if applicable) under the designated Plan, the daily thereafter roaming data usage will be charged by “Upgraded” Roaming Data Day Plan subscribed by the customer.
  • (If applicable) For any Customer who subscribes FUP Unlimited Data Plan and DataRoam Service, FUP Unlimited Data usage applies to local (Hong Kong) use only. When the Customer is within the location of any of the overseas destinations which cover the selected DataRoam Service and if the Customer’s accumulated data usage exceeds monthly data allowance under the designated Plan, the daily thereafter roaming data usage will be charged by “Upgraded” Roaming Data Day Plan subscribed by the customer.
  • Customer can enjoy “Upgraded” Roaming Data Day Plan at 50% off on fixed daily rate (based on original price) upon the subscription of DataRoam x6 Service. The offer cannot be used in conjunction with other offers. The fixed daily rate will be adjusted from HK$138 (China/Macau) or HK$198 (other destinations) to HK$69 or HK$99 respectively for roaming data each day, HK$60 credit for local outgoing calls within same city and free global travel insurance. A daily rate of only HK$34 (original at HK$68) is applied when you start to use roaming data after 18:00 (local time) in the visited destination (excluding the HK$60 credit for local outgoing calls within same city).   • DataRoam Service cannot be used in conjunction with Multi-SIM, Tag-On SIM Plans, 30GB Data Upgrade Choice and other designated Add-on Local Data Plan.

  • Customer can enjoy free Connecting Tone Service or free 30 minutes of 001 IDD during the period of DataRoam x6 Service subscription.
  • (If applicable) Any free bonus local data offered to an existing contract of a service number under the service plan will be forfeited upon DataRoam Service subscription. The forfeited data will not be refunded or replenished to the Customer.
  • (If applicable) Any free day entitlement of “Upgraded” Roaming Data Day Plan offered to an existing contract of a service number under the service plan will firstly be deducted with the use of “Upgraded” Roaming Data Day Plan.
  • (If applicable) Any free day entitlement of Virtual WiFi Egg offered to an existing contract of a service number under the service plan will be forfeited when the Customer switches to “Upgraded” Roaming Data Day Plan upon DataRoam Service subscription. The forfeited free day entitlement will not be refunded or replenished to the Customer.
  • (If applicable) Any free day entitlement of “Upgraded” Roaming Data Day Plan offered to an existing contract of a service number under the service plan will be forfeited when the Customer switches to Virtual WiFi Egg upon DataRoam Service subscription. The forfeited free day entitlement will not be refunded or replenished to the Customer.

Free 30 minutes of 001 IDD:
  • Free 30 minutes of 001 IDD is only available during the DataRoam Service period, and the IDD minutes only apply to voice calls made by 001 IDD in Hong Kong to the normal fixed and mobile numbers in China. But excludes voice calls made to the infoline numbers and satellite numbers.
  • Customer must apply 001 IDD to enjoy the 30 free minutes of IDD.
  • Unused free minute(s) cannot be carried forwarded and will be cancelled on bill date.
  • Free 001 IDD minutes will be given on pro-rata basis from service activation date to 1st bill date, and free 30 minutes IDD will be given in the following bills.

Free Connecting Tone Service:
  • Free Connecting Tone Service is only available during the DataRoam Service period.
  • Service includes 1 connecting tone change per month. For additional change, HK$5 per tone change will apply.
  • Browsing Connecting Tone content or sampling music tracks will incur data. It will be deducted from relevant subscribed service plans and charged at the applicable thereafter fee. Alternatively, it will be charged based on standard data charges.
  • Customer with Connecting Tone and Connecting Tone Channel subscription are not eligible to enjoy the free offer.

SmarTone Screen Replace™ (For Apple Watch Series 3 (GPS+Cellular)):
  • Upon accidental physical damage of the Apple Watch Series 3 (GPS + Cellular) screen and/or its attached LCD panel, within 12 months of the effective date of Screen Replace, SmarTone will reimburse the cost of screen/LCD panel repair or replacement, once only within the first 12 months from the effective date of Screen Replace. The maximum amount of the Reimbursement is HK$1,500 per claim.
  • The reimbursement is subject to submission by the customer of the official invoice from the Apple Watch manufacturer or its authorised repair centres as stipulated by SmarTone

SmartShare :
  • SmartShare service can only be used with a compatible iPhone and Apple Watch Series 3 (GPS + Cellular) models and an eligible mobile service plan.(not applicable to Prepaid)
  • The voice minutes and data usage incurred by SmartShare service on your Apple Watch Series 3 (GPS + Cellular) will be deducted from your mobile service plan.

    Any unused top-up local mobile data can be carried forward for free and can be used before the end of the next bill month. This is only applicable to designated service plans (1GB or above) with an “Advise & Consent” mechanism for the purchase of top-up data.

    SmarTone Screen Replace™ is restricted to covering the repair or replacement cost of accidental physical damage of the smartphone screen and/or its attached LCD panel.

SuperCare Family Plans:
  • All local data and voice usage will be shared between all SIM Cards under the plan. The accumulated usage of all SIM Cards will be counted towards the usage of the plan.

  • Additional voice minutes charge HK$0.9/min.
  • Call duration is rounded up to full charge units for computation purposes. Each full charge unit is based on a per minute airtime charge.
  • Free intra SMS is available when using a phone to send local SMS to SmarTone customers.
  • Roaming charge and standard roaming data charge apply when roaming. Please ask our store assistants or visit our website for details.
  • SIM Only SuperCare Family Plans are not applicable to 2G phones / connected devices or any phones / connected devices which has manually opted for 2G network. Actual data transmission speeds may vary due to Internet traffic conditions, local conditions, hardware, software and other conditions which may arise.
  • Plans are not applicable to BlackBerry smartphones with BlackBerry 7 OS and earlier versions.
  • Plans cannot be used in conjunction with Multi-SIM and Tag-On SIM Plans.
  • If the registered mobile number of the plan is terminated/disconnected or changes to a non-specified plan for whatever reason, all SIMs under the plan will be terminated automatically at the same time.

Flexi-switch For Designated Service Plans:
  • Only applicable to new customers or existing customers with a new line subscription to a designated Service Plan.
  • Flexi-switch allows customers to change to another designated Service Plan (“Switch”) once within the first 3 months from the date of activation of the service subscription under the contract made prior to the Switch (“Pre-Switch Contract”).
  • When the customer changes to a designated Service Plan under Flexi-switch (“Switch Contract”), the customer shall use the designated Service Plan for the remaining period of the Switch Contract (“Switch Contract Term”).
  • The applicable GoodCare Smartphone Plan for Flexi-switch includes GoodCare Smartphone Plan at a monthly fee of HK$88 only. Other GoodCare Smartphone Plans are not applicable for Flexi-switch.
  • (if applicable) FUP Unlimited Data Plan:
    If the Pre-Switch Contract carries a FUP Unlimited Data Plan but the Customer is not entitled to a FUP Unlimited Data Plan under the Switch Contract, the FUP Unlimited Data Plan under the Pre-Switch Contract will be automatically cancelled and the Customer will not be entitled to the FUP Unlimited Data Plan during the Switch Contract Term.
  • (if applicable) The selected services, rebates, extra local data and airtime offers and the special offers entitlements (including, but not limited to, quotas of Customer Smartphone and Tablet offer, SuperCare Unbundled Smartphone Plan’s designated smartphones and tablets at Unbundled Prices, accessories coupons and premium) of the Pre-Switch Contract will be superseded by the Switch Contract which the customer has changed to under Flexi-switch.

Extra Double-up Data Offer:
  • Only available to customers who newly subscribe to the SuperCare Family Plans.

  • Each service plan is entitled to the offer once only.

  • FUP unlimited data usage will be shared between all SIM Cards under the Specified Service Plan. The contract end date will be the same as the designated SuperCare Family Plan.
  • FUP Unlimited Data cannot be used in conjunction with DataRoam Plan, 10GB Add-on Local Data Plan, Multi-SIM Monthly Plan and Tag-On SIM Plan.
  • Free WiFi service:
    i) Free WiFi service is available to a Customer who has subscribed to a designated FUP Unlimited Data Plan.
    ii) The Customer with the registered mobile number of the Specified Service Plan (“User of Registered Number”) is required to register for WiFi service.
    iii) Free WiFi service will be terminated if the Customer changes to other service plan
    iv) Customers are required to register for WiFi service through our 24-hour service hotline 2880 2688.
    v) WiFi service applies to designated WiFi hotspots provided by Y5 ZONE Limited in Hong Kong only.

  • During the contract period, the unlimited data usage under "Anytime Music" / "Anytime Video" is only applicable to the local data usage incurred by listening to music and watching videos within the designated music streaming apps / video apps on smartphone. Data usage incurred by apps download, software update, account registration and login, advertisement, upload and live video, non-video/music contents (including but not limited to the text, images, header files, app analytics, using in- app location based features, and any video/music streamed over VPN) within the designated apps are excluded. When the monthly local data allowance of the plan has been fully consumed and the data service is suspended, the "Anytime Music" / "Anytime Video" service will also be suspended until next bill month and will only be resumed once the customer purchases data top-up options.

  • Free for "Anytime Music" is calculated based on the original monthly fee HK$88, after a contract bonus of HK$88 per month has been given to the customer within the contract period; while the special monthly fee HK$48 of "Anytime Video" is calculated based on the original monthly fee HK$88, after a contract bonus of HK$40 per month has been given to the customer within the contract period. At the end of the contract, the customer will be charged at the prevailing comparable plan if the customer continues to use the service.

  • Fixed-Term contract is not required for JOOX; customers are required to pay service fee monthly. Total rebate period of this offer is 24 months. The special monthly fee HK$31.8 is calculated based on the original monthly fee HK$49 for JOOX, after a rebate of HK$17.2 per month has been given to the customer. At the end of the rebate period, the customer will be charged at the prevailing original monthly fee of the service if the customer continues to use the service.

  • Fixed-Term contract is not required for KKBOX; customers are required to pay service fee monthly. Total rebate period of this offer is 24 months. The special monthly fee HK$24.5 is calculated based on the original monthly fee HK$49 for KKBOX, after a rebate of HK$24.5 per month has been given to the customer. At the end of the rebate period, the customer will be charged at the prevailing original monthly fee of the service if the customer continues to use the service.

  • Actual customer internet experience for 4.5G can vary due to factors such as the relative position between you and the base station, the download server source, Internet traffic conditions, the number of users, users' devices and other factors that may arise.

  • The special monthly fee HK$128 is calculated based on the original monthly fee HK$298 for U Plan Lite, after a rebate of HK$170 per month has been given to the customer. At the end of the rebate period, the customer will be charged at the prevailing comparable plan if the customer continues to use the service.

  • The special monthly fee HK$100 is calculated based on the original monthly fee HK$168 for FUP Unlimited Data, after a rebate of HK$68 per month has been given to the customer. At the end of the contract, unless the customer gives not less than 30 days prior notice to terminate the service, the Company will continue to provide the service and the customer will be charged at the prevailing monthly fee of FUP Unlimited Data.

U Plan Lite:
  • Applicant must be aged 18 or above and a full-time student of designated post-secondary education institutions. Flexi-switch For Designated Service Plans:
  • Only applicable to new customers or existing customers with a new line subscription to a designated Service Plan.
  • Flexi-switch allows customers to change to another designated Service Plan (“Switch”) once within the first 3 months from the date of activation of the service subscription under the contract made prior to the Switch (“Pre-Switch Contract”).
  • When the customer changes to a designated Service Plan under Flexi-switch (“Switch Contract”), the customer shall use the designated Service Plan for the remaining period of the Switch Contract (“Switch Contract Term”).
  • The applicable GoodCare Smartphone Plan for Flexi-switch includes GoodCare Smartphone Plan at a monthly fee of HK$88 only. Other GoodCare Smartphone Plans are not applicable for Flexi-switch.
  • (if applicable) FUP Unlimited Data Plan:
    If the Pre-Switch Contract carries a FUP Unlimited Data Plan but the Customer is not entitled to a FUP Unlimited Data Plan under the Switch Contract, the FUP Unlimited Data Plan under the Pre-Switch Contract will be automatically cancelled and the Customer will not be entitled to the FUP Unlimited Data Plan during the Switch Contract Term.
  • (if applicable) The selected services, rebates, extra local data and airtime offers and the special offers entitlements (including, but not limited to, quotas of Customer Smartphone and Tablet offer, SuperCare Unbundled Smartphone Plan’s designated smartphones and tablets at Unbundled Prices, accessories coupons and premium) of the Pre-Switch Contract will be superseded by the Switch Contract which the customer has changed to under Flexi-switch.

10GB Add-on Local Data:
  • Only available to customers who have subscribed to U Plan Lite.
  • Customers opting for 10GB Add-on Local Data Plan, the contract end date will be the same as the U Plan Lite.
  • 10GB Add-on Local Data Plan cannot be used in conjunction with Multi-SIM, Tag-On SIM Plans and FUP Unlimited Data.
  • 10GB Add-on Local Data Plan is not applicable to 2G phones / connected devices or any phones / connected devices which have manually opted for 2G network.

30GB Data Upgrade Choice:
  • Only available to customers who have subscribed to a designated SuperCare Smartphone Plan (6GB or above) and FUP Unlimited Data Plan.
  • Customers opting for 30GB Data Upgrade Choice Plan, including the local data entitlement of the SuperCare Smartphone Plan, the total local data entitlement would not be less than 30GB per month.
  • The contract end date of 30GB Data Upgrade Choice Plan will be the same as the FUP Unlimited Data Plan. At the end of contract, unless customer gives not less than 30 days prior notice to terminate the service, we will continue to provide the service and customer will be charged at the prevailing monthly fee of 30GB Data Upgrade Choice Plan.
  • If customer terminates 30GB Data Upgrade Choice Plan or FUP Unlimited Data Plan within the contract of 30GB Data Upgrade Choice Plan, customer shall pay us liquidated damages of the corresponding service(s).
  • 30GB Unlimited Data Plan cannot be used in conjunction with Multi-SIM, Tag-On SIM Plans and other Add-on Local Data Plan.

Anytime Music Service:

  • To use the China Macau Data Pack when travelling in China and Macau, the Customer should turn on data roaming via 'Settings' on his/her phone.

  • When the Customer is within the location of China and Macau, Virtual WiFi Egg and “Upgraded” Roaming Data Day Plan are not applicable.
  • When the Customer is within the location of any of the overseas destinations other than China and Macau, the daily roaming data usage will be charged by Virtual WiFi Egg or “Upgraded” Roaming Data Day Plan subscribed by the customer.

  • HK$18 DataRoam Service is only available to customer who has subscribed to a designated SuperCare Smartphone Plan (1GB data or above).
  • HK$36 / HK$236 / HK$276 DataRoam Service is only available to customer who has subscribed to a designated SuperCare Family Plan.
  • Customer opting for DataRoam Service, the contract end date will be the same as the subscribed designated Plan.
  • The monthly data allowance and top-up data purchased under the designated Plan can be shared in Hong Kong, Macau and other designated overseas destinations. While the monthly local voice minutes allowance and additional local voice minutes purchased under the designated Plan can be shared in Hong Kong and Macau for receiving calls from anywhere and local outgoing calls in the same designation.
  • For HK$118 / HK$236 DataRoam Service, the additional destination selected by the Customer cannot be changed during the contract period.

  • When the customer is within the location of any of the overseas destinations which cover the selected DataRoam Service and if the customer’s accumulated data usage exceeds monthly data allowance and top-up data purchased (if applicable) under the designated Plan, the daily thereafter roaming data usage will be charged by Virtual WiFi Egg or “Upgraded” Roaming Data Day Plan subscribed by the customer.
  • (If applicable) For any Customer who subscribes FUP Unlimited Data Plan and DataRoam Service, FUP Unlimited Data usage applies to local (Hong Kong) use only. When the Customer is within the location of any of the overseas destinations which cover the selected DataRoam Service and if the Customer’s accumulated data usage exceeds monthly data allowance under the designated Plan, the daily thereafter roaming data usage will be charged by Virtual WiFi Egg or “Upgraded” Roaming Data Day Plan subscribed by the customer.
  • Customer can enjoy “Upgraded” Roaming Data Day Plan at 50% off on fixed daily rate (based on original price) upon the subscription of HK$118 / HK$138/ HK$236/ HK$276 DataRoam Service. The offer cannot be used in conjunction with other offers. The fixed daily rate will be adjusted from HK$138 (China/Macau) or HK$198 (other destinations) to HK$69 or HK$99 respectively for roaming data each day, HK$60 credit for local outgoing calls within same city and free global travel insurance. A daily rate of only HK$34 (original at HK$68) is applied when you start to use roaming data after 18:00 (local time) in the visited destination (excluding the HK$60 credit for local outgoing calls within same city).   • Under FUP (Fair Usage Policy), when monthly data usage reaches the plan's data allowance, data service continues without speed throttling or data capping, but access to network resources will be given lower priority and data service experience may be affected.

  • The Account Owner is responsible for the specified service plan and has complete financial responsibility for the monthly bill of the specified service plan.

  • At any time when the local data usage on a plan nearly reaches the monthly allowance, an SMS notification will be sent to the customer. The customer may reply to the SMS to purchase a top-up. If no top-up is purchased, data service will be suspended when the data usage has reached the allowance. Customer may purchase a top-up at any time to resume service, or wait until the beginning of the next bill month to commence service again with the new monthly data allowance.

    Any unused top-up local mobile data can be carried forward for free and can be used before the end of the next bill month. This is only applicable to designated service plans (1GB or above) with an “Advise & Consent” mechanism for the purchase of top-up data.

    SmarTone Screen Replace™ is restricted to covering the repair or replacement cost of accidental physical damage of the smartphone screen and/or its attached LCD panel.

  • Fixed-Term contract is not required; customers are required to pay service fee monthly.

  • Download, usage and content update of this service will incur data. It will be deducted from relevant subscribed service plans and charged at the applicable thereafter fee. Alternatively, it will be charged based on standard data charges.

Expat Plan︰
  • Customers are required to pay an admin fee of HK$18/month.
  • The customer shall use credit card autopay to settle the monthly service plan and related service fees. If the customer does not settle his monthly payment by credit card autopay, a deposit of HK$1,000 is required.
  • Call duration is rounded up to full units for computation purposes. Each full unit is based on a per minute airtime.
  • Free intra SMS is available when using a phone to send local SMS to SmarTone customers.
  • Roaming charge & standard roaming data charge apply when roaming. Please ask our store assistants or visit our website for details.
  • Expat Plan is not applicable to 2G phones/ connected devices or any phones/ connected devices which have manually opted for 2G network. If the customer uses this plan on any 2G phones/ connected devices or any phones/ connected devices which have manually opted for 2G network, any charges which may incur will be borne by the customer. Actual data transmission speeds may vary due to Internet traffic conditions, local conditions, hardware, software and other conditions which may arise.
  • Plans are not applicable to BlackBerry smartphones with BlackBerry 7 OS and earlier versions.

Extra Local Data Offer:
  • Only available to customers who have subscribed to Expat Plan upon a 6-month contract subscription.

  • The extra local data cannot be used in conjunction with DataRoam Service. The extra local data will be forfeited upon DataRoam Servicesubscription. The forfeited data will not be refunded or replenished to the customer.
  • Each service plan is entitled to the offer once only.

  • If the Plan is terminated for whatever reason, the Add-on Data SIM card will be terminated automatically at the same time.
  • For Customers who opt for FUP Unlimited Data / 10GB Add-on Local Data / DataRoam Service, the data usage will also apply to the Add-on Data SIM card.
  • The extra local data usage will also apply to the Add-on Data SIM card.

30GB Data Upgrade Choice:
  • Only available to customers who have subscribed to a designated SuperCare Smartphone Plan (6GB or above) and FUP Unlimited Data Plan.
  • Customers opting for 30GB Data Upgrade Choice Plan, including the local data entitlement of the SuperCare Smartphone Plan, the total local data entitlement would not be less than 30GB per month.
  • The contract end date of 30GB Data Upgrade Choice Plan will be the same as the FUP Unlimited Data Plan. At the end of contract, unless customer gives not less than 30 days prior notice to terminate the service, we will continue to provide the service and customer will be charged at the prevailing monthly fee of 30GB Data Upgrade Choice Plan.
  • If customer terminates 30GB Data Upgrade Choice Plan or FUP Unlimited Data Plan within the contract of 30GB Data Upgrade Choice Plan, customer shall pay us liquidated damages of the corresponding service(s).

    If the Pre-Switch Contract carries a FUP Unlimited Data Plan but the Customer is not entitled to a FUP Unlimited Data Plan under the Switch Contract, the FUP Unlimited Data Plan under the Pre-Switch Contract will be automatically cancelled and the Customer will not be entitled to the FUP Unlimited Data Plan during the Switch Contract Term.
