At anytime a customer has limited data consumption left remaining on a plan, a SMS will be sent to the main SIM of the corresponding service plan. The customer may reply with the SMS to purchase a top-up of 1GB at $100 to be used for the remaining period of the bill month. If no top-up is authorised, data consumption will be suspended for all corresponding SIMs when the data has been consumed. Customer may purchase top-up at anytime to resume service, or wait for the beginning of the next billing month to commence service again with the new month's data.
4G is only available with compatible devices and SIM cards.
Applicable to customers subscribing to $298 or above Integrated Voice & Data Plan.
Add-on data SIM provides data service only excluding any voice service. Total local data usage will be shared between add-on data SIMs and the main SIM under the Monthly Plan.
A specified service term contract is required. This will expire at the same time as the corresponding service number of the Monthly Plan. If the contract expiry date for this service number has passed by the time of add-on data SIM subscription, a 12-month contract is required.
Local SMS charges of add-on data SIMs : $0.5 for each intra-SMS or inter-SMS.
For add-on data SIM, the roaming data service is default deactivated. Customers need to register specified roaming data service plan to use roaming data service. For add-on data SIM (For USB modem), the roaming data charge is $0.12/KB for roaming worldwide.
The minimum data roaming charging unit is 1KB. Usage under 1KB will be rounded up to the nearest 1KB.
All customers can enjoy a deposit waiver on International Roaming Services.

If no top-up is authorised, data consumption will be suspended when the data has been consumed. Customer may purchase top-up at anytime to resume service, or wait for the beginning of the next billing month to commence service again with the new month's data.
All monthly plans require a smartphone purchase, subscription to contract and other specified services. Refundable prepayments will be credited to the customer over the contract period.
$298/ $348/ $398/ $418 monthly plans are only applicable to specified handset models.
SIM Only plans:
$168 & $268 plan requires 12-month contract. $238 plan requires 24-month contract.
IDD minute:
Monthly plans including 30 minutes of IDD are only available during the contract period. IDD minutes only apply to voice calls made in Hong Kong with Smart IDD to fixed and mobile numbers in the following 10 destinations: China, USA, Canada, Australia, UK, Taiwan, Singapore, Japan, Macau, and Malaysia. Voice calls made to infoline numbers and satellite numbers in these destinations are excluded. Unused minute(s) cannot be carried forward and will be cancelled on the bill date. To enjoy 30 minutes of IDD, customers are required to settle monthly service fees by autopay. For details of IDD thereafter charges, please click here.
General terms and conditions:
4G is only available with compatible devices and SIM cards.
Customers are required to pay an admin fee of $12/month.
Additional voice minutes charge $0.9/min.
Call duration is rounded up to full charge units for computation purposes. Each full charge unit is based on a per minute airtime charge.
Airtime between SmarTone customers will first be deducted from intra minutes, thereafter minutes will then be deducted from basic minutes. Intra minutes also apply to local calls to our 24-hour service hotline, Voice Mail, and secretarial services.
Free intra SMS is available when using a handset to send local SMS to SmarTone customers.
Roaming charge & standard roaming data charge apply when roaming. Please ask our store assistants or visit our website for details.
