#Based on results obtained from study conducted by market research company NuanceTree, as commissioned by SmarTone. 3,942 post-paid SIM card users were interviewed via online survey and street interviews between January and December 2022.

Up to $2,500 Instant Handset Discount is based on customers can enjoy up to $2,500 Handset Voucher Offer for designated handset purchase upon subscription of a designated 5G service plan under fixed-term contract. The value of the Handset Voucher Offer to be given will depend on the contract subscription selected by the customer.

$179/ $239/ $299/ $399 Monthly Plan:
Monthly fee $179/ $239/ $299/ $399 are based on the original monthly fee $238/ $398/ $398/ $498 for 5G SIM Only Service Plan, after a rebate of $59/ $159/ $99/ $99 per month credited to the customer during the contract period. After expiry of the contract period, the customer will be charged at the prevailing comparable plan if the customer continues to use the service.
Upon subscription of a designated 5G SIM Only Service Plan (20GB/ 80GB/ 80GB/ 150GB) under fixed term contract, the customer can enjoy extra 30GB/ 30GB/ 30GB/ 30GB Local Data per month during the contract period.

“Mainland China and Macau Data Pack” Service Rebate: Subscription to “Mainland China and Macau Data Pack” is required within the contract period. Customer can enjoy a monthly service fee rebate under a designated plan within contract period. The amount of rebate depends on the monthly service charge at the time of service subscription. The rebate of the first bill month and/or the last bill month will be credited on a pro-rata basis based on the number of days of usage (If applicable). The rebate amount in a bill month will not be greater than the monthly service charge. After the expiry of the contract period, prevailing service fee will be charged if the customer continues to use the service.

Offer is only applicable to customer who subscribes / re-contracts / upgrades to a designated service plan. Customer is required to subscribe a designated service plan, sign a designated fixed-term contract subscription and pay an admin fee of $18 per month. Customer is further required to prepay designated amount of service fee and admin fee. The amount of required service fee prepayment, the extra data and/or free offers and/or the value of the premium to be given will depend on the contract subscription selected by the customer.

Terms and Condition For 5G service plan:
5G SIM Only Monthly Plan: The account registrant shall be responsible for the specified service plan and responsible all fees payable for the monthly bill of the specified service plan. The plan cannot be used in conjunction with “DataRoam Plan”.

Customers can enjoy Mainland & Macau Roaming Data Pack Offer and / or Asia Pacific RoamFlex Data Pass Offer for free during the contract period upon subscription of a designated service plan under fixed-term contract. The data usage of the Mainland & Macau Roaming Data Pack Offer and / or Asia Pacific RoamFlex Data Pass Offer to be given will depend on the contract subscription selected by the customer.

Mainland & Macau Roaming Data Pack ("the Package"):
The Free 1GB / 2GB / 3GB / 10GB / 15GB per month Mainland & Macau Roaming Data Pack is calculated based on the original monthly fee HK$30 / HK$58 / HK$88 / HK$298 / HK$448, after a rebate of HK$30 / HK$58 / HK$88 / HK$298 / HK$448 per month has been given to the customer within contract period. The monthly 1GB / 2GB / 3GB / 10GB / 15GB data allowance of the Package can be used in Mainland and Macau and only available for existing customers of the Company's designated monthly mobile service plan. Customers should activate "Data Roaming Day Pass" at the same time. When the Customer is located in Mainland and Macau and the data usage has exceeded the monthly allowance of the Package, the Company will notify the Customer by SMS. The Customer may reply by SMS to purchase a top-up of the Package at the charge as specified in the SMS received. If the Customer does not reply to top-up, any subsequent data roaming usage will be deducted from other roaming products. If no other product is available, customers will be charged at a fixed daily rate automatically. (If applicable) The 200 minutes of roaming voice minutes per month in Mainland and Macau (“The Roaming Voice Offer”) is only applicable to Primary SIM Card. The Roaming Voice Offer is only applicable in Mainland and Macau for receiving calls, outgoing calls to local and Hong Kong by roaming direct dial. Calls in other destinations/ other roaming calls usage will be charge at standard roaming rates. The Roaming Voice offer cannot coexist with other packages that offer roaming voice minutes or roaming voice discounts (“The Designated Packages”). The Customer cannot enjoy the Roaming Voice Offer if Customer has purchased the Designated Packages when signing a contract, please check with our store assistances for the details. Our company reserves the right of final decision related to these offers and to change the Terms & Conditions without prior notice. Subject to relevant terms and conditions. 15GB / 35GB / 70GB Asia Pacific RoamFlex Data Pass:
Subscription to RoamFlex Data Pass – 15GB / 35GB / 70GB Asia Pacific destinations with a monthly fee of HK$28 / HK$48 / HK$68 is required within the contract period. Customer can enjoy HK$28 / HK$48 / HK$68 monthly fee rebate starting from the next bill month within the contract period. The Customer shall use the “RoamFlex Data Pass” for the period specified in the Sales and Services Agreement. The term shall start from the service effective date. “Data Roaming Day Pass" or “Upgraded” Roaming Data Day Plan should be activated at the same time. The remaining data entitlement of the “RoamFlex Data Pass” will be automatically forfeited when the Term expires. If the Customer’s accumulated “RoamFlex Data Pass” usage exceeds roaming data allowance within contract period and top-up “RoamFlex Data Pass” data is purchased, or if the Customer is located in any overseas destination(s) other than designated destinations, the Customer will be charged the original day plan price under the “Data Roaming Day Pass” or “Upgraded” Roaming Data Day Plan subscribed, depending on the fee(s) to be charged in specific location(s). “RoamFlex Data Pass” subscription is only available to Main SIM mobile number. Customers of Main SIM and Add-on SIM under the designated plan can all enjoy the roaming data allowance within contract period under “RoamFlex Data Pass”. (If applicable) Customer can enjoy the roaming voice service at a special price (“The Voice Offer”) in specific destinations for receiving calls, outgoing calls to local and Hong Kong by roaming direct dial for total 100 minutes within the contract period. Calls in other destinations/ other roaming calls usage will be charge at standard roaming rates. The Voice Offer is only applicable to Primary SIM Card. Terms and conditions apply (T&C-I044).

$1,000 / $1,500 / $2,500 Handset Voucher Offer:
Customers can enjoy Handset Voucher Offer for designated handset purchase upon subscription of a designated service plan under fixed-term contract. The amount of the Voucher to be given will depend on the contract subscription selected by the customer. Customer is required to purchase designated handset at the prevailing Recommended Retail Price at the Company's stores or Online store (If applicable). The offer is only applicable for customer purchase designated handset at Recommended Retail Price $5,000 or above. A prepayment of designated amount of service fee is required (If applicable). Prepayment amount depends on the service plan selected. The prepayment amount will be credited to the customer according to the rebate arrangement specified in the Sales and Services Agreement (or Supplemental Agreement to the Sales and Services Agreement) upon the activation. The prepayment amount will be credited to customer’s bank account via Faster Payment System (FPS) and the mobile services plan must be still activated. Customers must ensure the accuracy and completeness of the information provided (If applicable). The offer is valid for 365 days from the date of contract subscription or the date of contract renewal acceptance. This offer cannot be used in conjunction with other Handset Voucher Offer. Customer can use the Handset Voucher Offer for one transaction only and can enjoy 12 months' Upgraded Back-to-Front “SmarTone Screen Replace™” for free upon designated handset purchase.

$200 Accessory Voucher Offer:
Customers can enjoy Accessory Voucher Offer for designated Accessory purchase upon subscription of a designated 5G service plan under fixed-term contract, and purchase a designated handset with the designated Handset Voucher Offer. Customer is required to purchase designated Accessory at the prevailing Recommended Retail Price at the Company's stores or Online store (If applicable). The offer is valid for 90 days from the date of contract subscription or the date of contract renewal acceptance. This offer cannot be used in conjunction with other Handset and/or Accessory Voucher Offer. Customer can use the Accessory Voucher Offer for one transaction only and can enjoy 12 months' Wearable Device “SmarTone Screen Replace™” for free upon designated Accessory purchase.

To borrow or not to borrow? Borrow only if you can repay!

“Instalments as low as $170/month” is calculated based on customer’s purchase of iPhone 16 Pro 128GB (Recommended Retail Price: $8,599) at $6,099 with $2,500 Handset Voucher Offer and settled by iPhone for Life.

iPhone for Life is only applicable to customers who subscribe to a designated 5G service plan under fixed-term contract, and purchase a designated iPhone with the designated Handset Voucher Offer. This offer cannot be used in conjunction with 1Mbps unlimited data offer for free during the contract period.

iPhone for Life:

Only applicable to customer(s) holding designated Credit Card issued by Hang Seng bank, HSBC bank or Standard Chartered ("Bank"). Customer can enjoy iPhone for Life for the designated iPhone (“Product”) purchase at the designated handset price payable by, interest free and handling charge free instalment plan and “Product Return Service” to obtain the applicable Buy-Back Value. “iPhone for Life” is not applicable to handset purchased by using designated handset & accessories credit offer.

  • • Product Return Service: Customer shall have the option to return the Product and obtain the applicable Buy Back Value, subject to the following conditions: he/she must return the Product within 21 days after 24 months from the Product Purchase Date. For the avoidance of doubt, should the Customer want to exercise the option of Product Return Service, the Product must be returned to SmarTone retail store on or before the designated period and complete the following procedure:
    • (a) the Product shall meet all the functional conditions as assessed by the SmarTone in accordance with the Product Acceptance Criteria, please ask our store assistants for details;
      (b) In the event where the original Product is swapped by Apple Authorized Repair Centre (e.g. warranty claim), documentary proof in support of the swap shall be provided to SmarTone when returning the Product for the Product Return Service;
      (c) he/she shall present the required documents for identity verification upon return of the Product and bring along the credit card holder upon return of the Product if he/she purchase the Product by third-party credit card: i) Original HKID/Passport; ii) (Applicable to customer who purchase the Product by third-party credit card) Original credit Card Holder’s HKID/ Passport; iii) Acknowledgement for Product Return Terms & Conditions with customer signature; iv) Valid credit card that was used to purchase the Product.
  • Product Return Service is non-transferable and shall only be used by the Customer who purchased the Product. Charger and accessories are not required upon returning of the Product. Customer shall ensure that all personal data is transferred out to personal device and SIM Card has been removed from the returned Product before returning the Product. The Product shall be reset to its factory setting and all information shall be deleted and could not be recovered once the Product is returned. SmarTone shall not be held liable for any loss of any information during the process of Product return.
  • Upon a successful assessment of the Product returned by the Customer, SmarTone will inform the Bank to terminate the remaining instalments of “iPhone for Life” (representing Buy-Back Value) in the credit card account, as a way to return the Buy-Back Value to the Customer.

Upgraded Back-to-Front “SmarTone Screen Replace™:
Upgraded SmarTone Screen Replace™ is provided by Avo Insurance Company Limited and Sun Hung Kai Properties Insurance Limited (collectively “Avo”).
Upon accidental physical damage of the designated handset screen and/or its back cover, and wearable device front screen, Avo will reimburse the cost of screen/ back cover repair or replacement, once only within the first 12 months from the effective date of Screen Replace. The reimbursement is subject to submission by the customer of the official invoice (must include the IMEI / Serial number of the device) from the manufacturer or its authorised repair centres as stipulated by Avo. The maximum amount of the handset reimbursement is HK$3,000 per claim. The maximum amount of the wearable device reimbursement is HK$1,500 per claim. The reimbursement is restricted to covering the repair or replacement cost of accidental physical damage of the designated handset screen and/or its back cover, and wearable device front screen, and expressly excludes any other repair and refurbishment of any other component or the handset itself. If the manufacturer or its authorised repair centres, as stipulated by AVO, offer a replacement as the only option for repair, Avo may exercise discretion and will reimburse up to 60% on the cost of replacement, subject to the maximum limit per device. The reimbursement percentage can vary from time to time and Avo's decision on the validity for reimbursement is absolute and final. Subject to relevant terms and conditions. Our Company reserves the right for final decision to this offer and changes the terms and conditions without prior notice.

$300 Trade-in Rebate :
SmarTone postpaid mobile service customers or Home 5G broadband service plan customers (“Existing Customers”) is entitled a $300 “Trade-in Rebate” when purchase designated mobile phone or tablet. “Trade-in Rebate” is limited to the holder and is not transferable. Customers must complete the trade-in transaction within 90 days of purchasing the new eligible device (“Eligible Transaction”) to redeem the $300 Trade-in rebate. The company will provide trade-in price of designated brands and models of handset, tablet, smart wearables or earphones based on their condition (“Trade-in Device”). Each Trade-in Device should include a battery and must function properly. It should meet the company’s trade-in standards. Trade-in prices vary depending on the condition of the Trade-in Device. The company will not accept any devices which have been altered in any way. Customer may select to collect the Trade-in price through the following methods (a) Fast Payment System (“FPS”); (b) credit to customer’s account; or (c) used immediately to offset payment of designated mobile phone or tablet. Customer can redeem $300 Trade-in rebate once per Eligible Transaction. The payment will be credited to his / her account after 14 working days. Customers must confirm that SIM card has been removed and backed up all data stored on the Trade-in Device. The Company will not be responsible for any loss, retrieval, restoration or transference of personal data from the Trade-in Device. Once the transaction is complete, the Trade-in Device cannot be reclaimed. The trade-in price is determined by the company and may be subject to change without prior notice. The trade-in service is only available at designated stores. In case of any disputes, the company reserves the final decision.

Add-on SIM card(s):
Only available to customers who subscribe to a designated 5G service plan contract subscription. Each registered mobile number of the specified 5G service plan (“Main SIM card”) can subscribe maximum 4 Add-on SIM cards. Up to 2 Add-on SIM cards can be subscribed for each of “4.5G Full Speed Add-on SIM card” and “4.5G 21Mbps Add-on SIM card” The contract of each Add-on SIM card will expire on the same expiry date of the 5G service plan contract. Specified data usage and voice usage under designated 5G service plan will be shared between all Add-on SIM card(s). The accumulated usage of Main SIM card and all Add-on SIM card(s) will be counted towards the usage of the designated 5G service plan.

Extra Local Data Offer:
Only applicable to customers who subscribe to a designated 5G service plan under fixed-term contract from 1st December 2022 onward opting for 5G Add-on SIM card(s) within designated contract period. Eligible customers who subscribe 5G Add-on SIM card(s) can enjoy extra 10GB Local Data per month for each 5G Add-on SIM card during the contract period. The extra local data entitlement depends on the number of 5G Add-on SIM card(s) subscribed by customer.

Monthly Fee Rebate:
Monthly fee rebate will be credited to the customer monthly during the term of designated Service Plan according to the credit arrangement specified in the Sales and Services Agreement (or Supplemental Agreement to the Sales and Services Agreement). If the customer changes /upgrades to other service plans during the term of the designated service agreement, the entire rebate amount / remaining balance of rebate amount will be forfeited. Rebate amount cannot be exchanged for cash or refund under any circumstances.

SmarTone Plus membership & privilege:
Customers who subscribe or renew designated mobile service plan will enjoy SmarTone Plus membership and the membership offered depends on the service plan selected. Membership period of designated membership tier will be 13 months. For members who have met the qualifying spending level during the eligible spending period, their membership will be renewed or upgraded. Fixed-term contract is required for designated membership tier. The company may terminate or change the terms and conditions of SmarTone Plus at any time without prior notice. Notice: Designated iPhones purchased will be unpacked and activated. Every iPhone comes with one year of hardware repair coverage through its limited warranty. The warranty period starts from the date of activation.

General Terms and Conditions:
Each designated contract subscription is entitled to the above offer once only. The Company reserves the right to offer an alternative gift of equivalent or approximate value. This offer cannot be used in conjunction with other subscription / re-contract / upgrade / Add-on SIM card offers. The above offers will be forfeited if the customer changes to other service plans/ cannot activate the service in 180 days upon the contract subscription, and the Company has the right to charge the full amount of the gift without prior notice. This offer cannot be transferred to any third party and is neither refundable nor exchangeable for cash.
