“Consumers’ No.1 Best Preferred 5G Network” is based on results obtained from study conducted by market research company NuanceTree, as commissioned by SmarTone. 771 post-paid SIM card users were interviewed via online survey and street interviews between July and Sep 2020.


VMonthly fee $298/$378/$448/$678 are based on the original monthly fee $398/$498/$598/$698 for 5G SIM Only Service Plan, after a rebate of $100/$120/$150/$20 per month credited to the customer during the contract period. After expiry of the contract period, the customer will be charged at the prevailing comparable plan if the customer continues to use the service.


Upon subscription of a designated 5G SIM Only Service Plan (80GB/150GB/200GB/280GB) under fixed term contract, the customer can enjoy extra 30GB/30GB/20GB/50GB Local Data per month during the contract period.


“Greater Bay Area Data Pack” Service Rebate: Subscription to “Greater Bay Area Data Pack” is required within the contract period. Customer can enjoy a monthly service fee rebate under a designated plan within contract period. The amount of rebate depends on the monthly service charge at the time of service subscription. The rebate of the first bill month and/or the last bill month will be credited on a pro-rata basis based on the number of days of usage (If applicable). The rebate amount in a bill month will not be greater than the monthly service charge. After the expiry of the contract period, prevailing service fee will be charged if the customer continues to use the service.


Local data top-up fee will be charged on 'Advise and Consent' basis. When the local data usage nearly reaches the monthly allowance, a SMS notification will be sent to the customer. The customer may purchase top-up data by replying to the SMS, top-up data is valid until the cut-off date of that bill month. If the customer does not purchase any top-up data, the data service will be suspended when the monthly allowance is used up, until the beginning of the next bill month.


Fixed-Term contract is not required for “SmarT Data Bank”.Service will be provided and charged on monthly basis. Monthly fee $18 of “SmartT Data Bank” is based on the original monthly fee $88 for “SmarT Data Bank”, after credit of a contract rebate of $70 per month to the customer within the contract period of specified 5G Service Plan. After the expiry of the contract period, the customer will be charged at the prevailing fee for the same service if the customer continues to use the service.


“Talk Freely Pack” Service Rebate: Subscription to Talk Freely Pack is required within the contract period. Customer can enjoy a monthly rebate for Talk Freely Pack under a designated Plan and the amount of rebate is based on the monthly service charge at the time of service subscription. The rebate on the first bill month and/or the last bill month will be credited for the number of days of usage during the bill cycle on a pro-rata basis (If applicable). The rebate amount in a bill month will not be greater than the monthly service charge. After the expiry of the contract period, the prevailing service will be charged if the customer continues to use the service. (The free offer is only applicable to designated plan contract subscription)


The offer is only applicable to <New Customer. Customer is required to subscribe a designated service plan, sign a designated fixed-term contract subscription and pay an admin fee of $18 per month. Customer is further required to prepay designated amount of service fee and admin fee. The amount of required service fee prepayment, the extra data and/or free offers and/or the value of the premium to be given will depend on the contract subscription selected by the customer. Upon subscription of a designated 5G service plan under fixed-term contract and 35GB Asia Pacific RoamFlex Data Pass at the same time, customer can enjoy Greater Bay Area Data Pack and Free 35GB Asia Pacific RoamFlex Data Pass for 24 months within contract period. Upon subscription of a designated 5G SIM Only Service Plan under fixed term contract, the customer can enjoy 1Mbps unlimited data during the contract period. Customer can enjoy a monthly rebate under the designated plan, and the amount of rebate is based on the monthly service charge at the time of service subscription. The rebate on the first bill month and/or the last bill month will be credited on a pro-rata basis based on the number of days of usage during the bill cycle (if applicable). The rebate amount in a bill month will not be greater than the monthly service charge. After the expiry of the contract, 1Mbps unlimited data will be terminated. The plan cannot be used in conjunction with DataRoam Plan.


Terms and Condition For 5G service plan:

5G SIM Only Monthly Plan: The account registrant shall be responsible for the specified service plan and responsible all fees payable for the monthly bill of the specified service plan. The plan cannot be used in conjunction with “DataRoam Plan”. Add-on SIM card: Only available to customers who subscribe to a designated 5G service plan contract subscription. Each registered mobile number of the specified 5G service plan (“Main SIM card”) can subscribe maximum 4 Add-on SIM cards. Up to 2 Add-on SIM cards can be subscribed for each of “4.5G Full Speed Add-on SIM card” and “4.5G 21Mbps Add-on SIM card” The contract of each Add-on SIM card will expire on the same expiry date of the 5G service plan contract. Specified data usage and voice usage under designated 5G service plan will be shared between all Add-on SIM cards. The accumulated usage of Main SIM card and all Add-on SIM cards will be counted towards the usage of the designated 5G service plan. Extra Local Data Offer: Only applicable to customers who subscribe to a designated 5G service plan under fixed-term contract from 1st December 2022 onward opting for 5G Add-on SIM cards within designated contract period. Eligible customers who subscribe 5G Add-on SIM can enjoy extra Local Data for each 5G Add-on SIM during the contract period. The extra local data entitlement depends on the number of 5G Add-on SIM cards subscribed by customer. Customer can enjoy the extra Local Data per month upon the activation of each designated Add-on SIM card Service Plan according to the credit arrangement specified in the Sales and Services Agreement (or Supplemental Agreement to the Sales and Services Agreement). Offer depends on the prevailing offer(s) available at the time of customer subscribe to Add-on SIM card. Offer(s) will be updated and amended from time to time. Please ask the Company’s store assistants for details.


“Greater Bay Area Data Pack”: The “Greater Bay Area Data Pack” monthly data allowance can be used in China and Macau, only available for existing customers of the Company’s designated monthly mobile service plan. The customer will be entitled to “Free “Easy Number” Service within contract period (not applicable to Add-on SIM cards). This service is subject to the relevant terms and conditions. Customers (users of all main and add-on SIMs under the same service plan) should activate “Virtual WiFi Egg” or “Upgraded” Roaming Data Day Plan at the same time. When the Customer is located in the areas of China and Macau and the data usage has exceeded the monthly allowance of Greater Bay Area Data Pack and the carried forward data allowance (if applicable), please check with our store assistants for the details about the arrangements of the thereafter usage and charges.


“Easy Number” - mainland mobile number: The scope and service applicability of Mainland China Number depend on the system specification and terms of third party service providers. Please contact the respective service providers for more details. The Service is only available for customers who have subscribed to the Company’s monthly mobile service plan with a Hong Kong Identity Card. Applicants for this service must be the account holder of the company's monthly mobile service plan. Each Hong Kong Identity Card holder can only subscribe to a maximum number of 3 Standard Plans of the Service, while each SmarTone mobile phone number registering with the same HKID holder can subscribe to one Standard Plan only. Each Standard Plan will be allocated one Mainland China mobile phone number. If the customer wants to receive phone calls or send/receive SMS outside Hong Kong, roaming service must be activated on his or her SmarTone monthly mobile plan's main line number. Roaming charges will apply according to the usage. This service can only send to dedicated China phone number (12306, 9xxxx, 106xxxxxx) and Hong Kong/Overseas mobile phone number. The customer should download the Add-on Numbers / Easy Number app to use the service. Customer must agree with the arrangement of Registration of True Identity Information of users for Mainland China mobile numbers. Customer is required to download the Add-on Numbers / Easy Number app to submit a valid Hong Kong Identity Card copy and recent photo of the mobile service plan account holder. The service will be activated in approximately 1-2 days after document submission. Subject to relevant terms and conditions. Please refer to T&C-V126 for details.


*35GB Mainland China & Asia Pacific Roaming Data: The Customer shall use the RoamFlex Data Pass for the period specified in the Sales and Services Agreement (“Term”). The Term shall start from the service effective date. “Data Roaming Day Pass" or “Upgraded” Roaming Data Day Plan should need to be actived at the same time. The remaining data entitlement of the RoamFlex Data Pass will be automatically forfeited after the Term expired. If the Customer’s accumulated RoamFlex Data Pass usage exceeds roaming data allowance within contract period and top-up of RoamFlex Data Pass data purchased, or if the Customer is within the location of any of the overseas destinations other than designated destinations, the Customer will be charged the original day plan price of “Data Roaming Day Pass” or “Upgraded” Roaming Data Day Plan subscribed by the customer and according to the destination(s) for the thereafter roaming data usage. RoamFlex Data Pass is only available to Main SIM mobile number subscribe. All mobile numbers under the designated plan can enjoy the roaming data allowance within contract period under RoamFlex Data Pass upon subscription of the Main SIM mobile number. Terms and conditions apply T&C-I044.


Unlimited Local Data: Only available to customers who have subscribed to a designated 5G service plan contract subscription. When monthly data usage reaches the plan's data allowance, data service continues with data speed up to 5Mbps. For the main SIM card and “5G Add-On SIM card” (If applicable), data service continues with data speed up to 5Mbps in 5G network; for “4.5G Full Speed Add-On SIM card” and “4.5G 21Mbps Add-On SIM card” plan (If applicable), data service continues with data speed up to 5Mbps in 4G network.


“Smart Data Bank” Service: Any unused designated local data and designated China and Macau data under designated 5G service plan before the end of bill month can be carried forward until change or cancel “Smart Data Bank” Service. Any unused and related eligible data to be carried forward before the end of bill month cannot be carried forward and will be forfeited if balance of data to be carried forward reach the limit. Talk Freely Pack Service: The unlimited data usage under the Talk Freely Pack Service Plan is only applicable to the local data usage incurred by the designated apps on smartphone. Data usage incurred by apps download and software update are excluded. When the monthly local data allowance of the designated service plan has been fully consumed and the data service is suspended, the unlimited data usage under the Talk Freely Pack Service Plan will also be suspended until next bill month and will only be resumed once the Customer purchases data top-up options. The local data speed under the Talk Freely Pack Service Plan follows the Specified Service Plan subscribed by the Customer.


Add-On SIM Subscription Offer: Upon subscription of a designated 5G service plan under fixed-term contract and 5G Add-On SIM and/or 4.5G Add-On SIM and/or 21Mbps Add-On SIM at the same time, Customer can enjoy Monthly Fee Rebate within contract period for each designated Add-On SIM. Monthly fee rebate will be credited to the customer monthly upon the activation of each designated Add-on SIM card Service Plan according to the credit arrangement specified in the Sales and Services Agreement (or Supplemental Agreement to the Sales and Services Agreement). Total rebate/ remaining rebate will be forfeited if the customer changes /upgrade to other service plans within the rebate credit period. The remaining credit amount cannot be exchanged for cash or refund. Amount of Monthly Fee Rebate depends on the 5G service plan, category of Add-On SIM & number of Add-On SIM selected. Offer depends on the prevailing offer(s) available at the time of customer subscribe to Add-on SIM card. Offer(s) will be updated and amended from time to time. Please ask the Company’s store assistants for details.


Monthly Fee Rebate: Monthly fee rebate will be credited to the customer monthly during the term of designated 5G Service Plan according to the credit arrangement specified in the Sales and Services Agreement (or Supplemental Agreement to the Sales and Services Agreement). If the customer changes /upgrades to other service plans during the term of the designated service agreement, the entire rebate amount / remaining balance of rebate amount will be forfeited. Rebate amount cannot be exchanged for cash or refund under any circumstances.


54,500 The Point bonus points offer: The Point bonus points conversion rate (i.e. 250 The Point bonus point = HK$1 conversion) is based on The Point website on 22nd December 2022. $218 Point Dollar is based on customer converting 54,500 The Point bonus points adopting the above conversion rate. Up to 108 hours free parking offer in SHKP malls is based on customer converting 54,500 The Point bonus points for designated parking period in Park Central (based on The Point website on 22nd December 2022). The actual conversion rate and related offers depend on The Point and participating malls. Only applicable to new customers joined a contract subscription of designated monthly plan. Each The Point member can enjoy the offer once per mobile number only. SmarTone Plus membership & privilege:Customers who subscribe or renew designated mobile service plan will enjoy SmarTone Plus membership and the membership offered depends on the service plan selected. Membership period of designated membership tier will be 13 months. For members who have met the qualifying spending level during the eligible spending period, their membership will be renewed or upgraded. Fixed-term contract is required for designated membership tier. SmarTone Mobile Communications Limited may terminate or change the terms and conditions of SmarTone Plus at any time without prior notice. General Terms and Conditions: Each <New Customer will only be entitled to any subscription welcome offer once only. Each designated contract subscription is entitled to the above offer once only. The Company reserves the right to offer an alternative gift of equivalent or approximate value. This offer cannot be used in conjunction with other subscription / re-contract offers. The above offers will be forfeited if the customer changes to other service plans/ cannot activate the service in 180 days upon the contract subscription, and the Company has the right to charge the full amount of the gift without prior notice. This offer cannot be transferred to any third party and is neither refundable nor exchangeable for cash. The Company reserves the right of final decision relating to the promotions and any dispute thereof, and may change the terms and conditions without prior notice.
