SmarTone launches new tariffs for monthly plans
with per minute rate as low as HK$0.05 & increase in free airtime
offering customers the best value-for-money service
(16 July 2003, Hong Kong) - SmarTone Mobile Communications Limited announced the launch of new tariffs to its monthly plans, including , with per minute rate as low as HK$0.05.
Five new monthly plans (please see the table overleaf) will become effective tomorrow, 17 July 2003. Not only can new SmarTone customers subscribe to any of the five new monthly plans, existing SmarTone customers can also enjoy the new services of their respective monthly plans automatically with effect from the coming billing date. All monthly plans come with free intra-network SMS service as well as other free services (namely Voice Mail, Call Forwarding, Caller Number Display, Call Waiting and Conference Calling) for the first 12 months.
Also effective tomorrow, new and existing customers of monthly plan can enjoy new tariff plan with HK$0.2 per minute for the first 300 minutes; HK$0.05 per minute for 301st to 700th minutes; and thereafter charge is HK$0.2 per minute. In addition, customers can enjoy free services: intra-network SMS, Caller Number Display & Voice Mail service (the last service is offered free for the first 12 months).
