SmarTone delivers high-quality customer service in a hygienic environment

(26 March 2003, Hong Kong) In view of the increasing number of cases of Atypical Pneumonia infection in Hong Kong, and as a responsible corporate citizen, SmarTone Mobile Communications requires staff of all its shops to wear masks effective today, in addition to strengthening daily cleaning and sterilization of all shops.  SmarTone takes these preventive measures in response to the guidelines issued by the Hong Kong Retail Management Association and in support to the call made by the Health, Welfare and Food Bureau, thus providing customers with a hygienic environment to enjoy our high-quality service.

 

As one of the “Caring Companies” designated by The Hong Kong Council of Social Service, SmarTone cares about the health of its customers and staff and is dedicated to contributing to the prevention of the spread of any contagious disease.  

 

SmarTone has also distributed masks to all its employees working at offices in addition to front-line staff.

 

 

Furthermore, SmarTone helps customers “get closer” to the latest news on Atypical Pneumonia via the“What’s New” channel of its mobile multimedia portal .
