Part 1: Computer system requirements

Check whether your computer meets the system requirements of the service

System Requirements:

Operating system
	Windows 8 (32-bit and 64-bit): all editions
	Windows 7 (32-bit and 64-bit): all editions
	Windows Vista (32-bit and 64-bit): all editions, Service Pack 2 or later
	Windows XP (32-bit): Home, Professional, Service Pack 3 or later

CPU
	Microsoft Windows 8/Windows 7/Windows Vista: Intel Pentium 4 2GHz or above
	Microsoft Windows XP: Intel Pentium III 1GHz or above

Memory
	Microsoft Windows 8/Windows 7/Windows Vista : 1GB RAM or above
	Microsoft Windows XP: 512MB RAM or above

Disk space
	500MB free hard disk space (applicable to Essential Edition)
	800MB free hard disk space (applicable to Professional Edition)

Display
	Microsoft Windows 8/Windows 7/Windows Vista : 16 bit or (65000 colors)
	Microsoft Windows XP: 16 bit or (65000 colors)

Browser
	Microsoft Windows 8/Windows 7/Windows Vista: Internet Explorer 7.0 or above
	Microsoft Windows XP: Internet Explorer 6.0 or above

Part 2: Uninstalling the current computer protection service before starting the installation

Click "Start" and select "Settings", then select "Control Panel".
Select "Add or Remove Programs".
Select the computer protection service you want to delete and then click "Change/Remove".
Select "Restart" to restart the computer immediately or select "Restart later" to complete the uninstallation procedure.

Part 3: Subscribing to F-Secure PC Protection online

Open Internet browser.

Go to the main page of F-Secure PC Protection at

www.smartone.com/f-secure/mbb

Click "Subscribe Now" to subscribe to F-Secure PC Protection .

Enter your SmarTone broadband number and PIN and then click "Login".

Choose the service plan you would like to subscribe to and then click "Subscribe Now".

Please read the license agreement carefully. Click "Confirm" to accept the license agreement and complete the subscription.

Click "Download" to download the F-Secure PC Protection installation program.

Click "Run" or "Save" to install the software. If you choose "Save", do not change the file name.

Part 4: Installing F-Secure PC Protection

Run the installation program.

Choose the "Installation language" and click "Install".

Click "Accept" if you agree with the license agreement.

Once you have accepted the license terms, the downloading of files starts. This phase may take a few minutes. Once the downloading of files is completed, the Automatic installation window is displayed.
